The apartment was very well equipped and quite comfortable. It was really close to the centre of things in La Rochelle though there was also a free electric bus to take you around town which stopped close by. It was close to some great restaurants and cafes around the market hall. We loved being able to walk to a boulangerie each morning.
There is a fee for parking in the street outside though there is a large free public park about 10 minutes walk away.

Das Apartment war genau wie angegeben. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und in La Rochelle kann alles zu Fuss erledigt werden. Es war sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und wir wurden sehr herzlich von Jocelyne begrüßt. Als Überraschung gab es eine kleine Flasche Bordeaux Wein und eine Grundausstattung fürs Frühstück. Sehr praktisch sind auch die Leihfahrräder in der Stadt, die an vielen Stationen geliehen und wieder zurück gegeben werden können.
Das Apartment hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Zum Ausladen konnten wir vor der Tür parken und haben uns anschließend einen Parkplatz in der nahen Tiefgarage gesucht. Für uns kein Problem.

A splendid studio, beautifully presented, ideal for a short stay.
Downside was the lack of parking, although once we found the Place du Verdun car park it was much better.
