The lodge is perfect for a short stay on the way north or back. The owner is very friendly and looked well after us. We could park our car right next to the house, which was very convenient.

Very informative and freindly host. Location has a trail on the doorstep which runs alongside the river together with the forestry commission track which provide a pleasant walk or run of around 2mi.

Cozy!

Great place! Cozy room, excellent shower and bed, quiet, and the breakfast was big and with many options. A lot of care and attention to detail from the owners, and Willy was charming. He made sure we got a table on a restaurant nearby and gave us local recommendations.

As a lone motorcyclist this was the best place I stayed on my trip.

Great hosts elevated the whole experience!

My partner and I stayed for 6 nights in August 2022 and really enjoyed our stay at Silverbridge Lodge. Alison and Willie made us feel at home and comfortable, much more provided us with guides of where to visit. Breakfast had a good spread of bread, cheese, milk, juice, tea, coffee, various kinds of meats, fruits etc and we enjoyed the breakfast very much. Room is just nice for two person and bed was more than comfortable and we slept well throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and would definitely come back to stay if we visit the Scottish Highlands.

Lovely place to stay

The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We got a warm welcome from our host when we arrived - later than we'd anticipated. She was also lovely in packing some snacks for my son in the morning when he declined breakfast.

We had a lovely stay here. The room is spacious and clean, with a great (non electric, yay) shower. Breakfast was really nice and we chatted for a bit with one of the owners. There is a great walk right at the doorstep along the river with waterfalls.

location, comfort, breakfast all excellent. extra little cheeky requests eg filling a flask of hot water -no problem ! recommendations on how to optimise limited time in area for sightseeing followed and glad we did.

hard to think of any but if pushed the lounge area was on the small area should all occupants of all the rooms want to congregate. we personally used the TV when alone but felt uncomfortable when others joined the communal area leaving it on. Also others used the communal area for reading so we then felt the TV would disturb them. we went to our room to watch TV- fine but we had to sit on the bed rather than enjoy the comfort of easy chairs. this overall is a very minor point as we didn't stay to sit and watch TV, the stunning scenery was the attraction :)

Quiet spot lovely stay

Continental breakfast which was super. Rooms are lovely, nice bedding and plenty of tea and milk. Comfy chair to sit on. The owners here go out of their way to be helpful and informative. Plenty of car oarking
