Private 3BR on Carondelet by Hosteeva

Family of 4 spending 4 nights in July. Great choice. Spacious 2 level home located a block off of St Charles Avenue. We found street parking directly in front of house but wouldn't be hard to park at least close by for free. Clean and nicely furnished. Comfortable beds and hot shower facilities. We got a couple dips in the pool, which was a nice bonus. Good ac for the hot conditions. Nice to have the washer/dryer facility to make use of on our 2 week trip. Close to the street car and walking distance to the WW2 Museum and even the French Quarter if you like to walk. AMAZING bakery 2 blocks over (had THE best coconut pastry of my life!) and close to food on St Charles. Loved the house and all of its high ceilings and character. N.O. Is as gritty as ever but it's a fascinating city!! Can't wait to go back!

Not unexpected but it's close quarters to the neighbors so expect noise if they're gathering as ours were. We missed having an electric kettle (tea drinkers) and I suggest that you furnish with tea towels in the kitchen for general clean up. We used up about a whole roll of the paper towels, which seemed wasteful.

Very spacious and comfortable. Close to public transport.

Beds were comfy. Kitchen was very nice. Location was awesome and felt safe.
