Villa Maria was amazing and we had a wonderful week! Huge, comfortable rooms and so well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. The views were spectacular, I can highly recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise from the front terrace.
Giuseppe, our host was so very kind and helpful. He responded very quickly to any questions we had and he recommended some great local restaurants.
You would need a car if staying at Villa Maria as it's quite a walk down to Zafferana and incredibly steep walking back up. I guess that's the price you pay for the incredible view! There are a lot of steps up to the front door at the villa so wouldn't really be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

The view of the house is amazing, we enjoyed our stay at this good location, spacious, comfortable villa, the central heating is working very well, this is great for the wet winter months of Sicily.

What an amazing place. Absolutely huge. Great out door area with pool, pizza oven, bbq station and what a view. Highly recommend
