The hotel is well situated to exploring the town and the breakfast was excellent. The dining room is lovely and the bedroom comfortable. Under normal circumstances this would be a good hotel to stay at. The owner made a good effort to make up for the bad night.
The City view room means that you see the roof of the building in front. There was a fair in the town square with the noise being unbearable, even with all the windows closed and went on well after midnight. We asked to be moved but were told no and were not able to get a refund. The owners representative was most unhelpful. This is a known problem and apparently other hotels have complained to the Mayor. As we were there for one night this did not help.
