FOOT OF SLOPES, LARGE CHALET-STYLE DUPLEX, LUXURY RESIDENCE, VERY HIGH RESORT

The photos of this apartment don’t really do justice to the size…. It’s much bigger than we expected. The kitchen is small and not really geared towards cooking big meals but this is pretty normal for ski apartments we’ve stayed in before. We took pre-prepared meals and there is plenty of fridge space to store these and the a full size hob and oven to heat them. The living space is perfect for 6 people to lounge about in comfort in the evenings. There are plenty of comfortable beds tucked away on the mezzanine and small rooms in the eaves. Pierre was always on hand to answer any questions we had. The Canal subscription on the TV means you have access to hundreds of films and tv shows. The heated, covered parking was a godsend for the week we stayed…. Biggest snowfall in 50 years left many people digging cars out for hours. Nowhere is perfect… the apartment doesn’t have an oven tray for chips (which the kids had a hankering for one evening!) and it’s clear you are staying in Pierre’s longstanding family home which is filled with an odd assortment of crockery and random things tucked in cupboards and drawers! We loved this place, the location is almost ski in - ski out (across the road). If we came back to AdH in winter or summer, I’d book here again in a heartbeat.

Incredible location and apartment. A great place to stay. A very short walk to the slopes and right in town.

This very comfortable apartment made a great base for a superb ski holiday.

Séjour très agréable dans cet appartement qui ressemble a un petit chalet Emplacement au pied des pistes, vue sur la montagne, appartement de proprietaire très bien équipé. Pierre a été très arrangeant pour nous permettre de déposer nos bagages avant l’heure prévue.
