About this cottage rental

Perfectly located in a rural country side location yet close to most tourist sites. Certified by Tourism Northern Ireland situated 7 minutes from Belfast International Airport, 20 minutes from the ferry ports and Belfast city centre. We're central to most attractions in Northern Ireland ie Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge only 45 minutes drive. Or take the magnificent coastal route to the north coast. Private parking in front of the cottage.
The ground floor centrally heated accommodation is attached to the main house, is completely private, has its own entrance, and comprises of open plan bright lounge/diner with fully equipped kitchen, separate utility room, hallway, double bedroom and en-suite shower room with power shower. All rooms are tastefully decorated.
Freeview TV is available in the lounge. Free Wifi is also available. A BBQ and seating area for guests is on the deck overlooking the river.
This is a rural hidden gem of an idyllic property, with the wow factor, where you can wander down to the river and lake and take in peacefulness of the surroundings. It is an ideal central base for couples of all ages travelling around Northern Ireland or for the business person working in the area. A free welcome pack, to help you get settled.

Great 1-bed cottage near the airport. We stayed here so that it was easy to get into Belfast but also easy to get to the fantastic places to visit in NI. Hiring a car was essential.

A lovely homely cottage apartment. Everything we could ask for. Superb helpful and friendly hosts. The perfect location to enjoy Northern Ireland - quietly situated in the countryside but with easy access to Belfast to the East, Giant's Causeway to the North, numerous National Trust properties including the spectacular Mount Steward and the lovely coast and coastal roads. With a large Lough close by and the rugged West Coast as well. Amazed by the efficient road system around and through Belfast. Highly recommended and congratulate Suzie and Rod on their lovely Robin Cottage.

I needed somewhere to stay in the area and I found Robin Cottage having read all the great reviews. Suffice to say, the reviews are certainly justified. The hosts were very accommodating with a last minute booking and I found both just genuinely warm and friendly people. The Cottage had everything you'd expect. A nice, clean and bright open space which still felt private despite being next door to the hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the rain shower was lovely first thing in the morning. WiFi was great and I had no issues whilst working during the week. The location of the cottage was perfect for me too. The local village is a few minutes away with great transport links if you needed to get into Belfast city center but I didn't need to. Also close to the international airport. I'd highly recommend Robin Cottage to anyone. Thank you again for being such great hosts and I wish you all the very best

First of all, Daisy is a treasure! Second, Rod and Suzie are kind a gracious hosts. The location of the home is perfect if you're flying in or out of Belfast international airport. It's unbelievably close. If you're looking for a quiet place that is out of the way, but still close amenities, you can't ask for better. The owners are on site, which is not a negative, but is something to consider. Belfast is 20-30 minutes away, and the Giant's Causeway is about an hour going the direct route, but I would suggest going to Carrickfergus and going up the coast. The cottage itself is well maintained and comfortable. Everything is in good working order, and is just a lovely little place for a couple to stay. I would be glad to stay there again.

Very pleased with the cottage. Everything you could every need was there. Extremely comfortable including the bed. It was all very well maintained, clean and very nicely decorated. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. The hosts had provided us with a few groceries and also some very tasty home grown strawberries. The hosts were very helpful with any questions we had and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was ideal for visiting the towns, city’s and beautiful coastline. Would definitely recommend this property.

Adsolutely beautiful and clean cottage. Susie and Rod were excellent hosts and the greeting was friendly and informative. Susie and Rod were so kind to get in some shopping to set me up on my first evening... bread, butter, marmalade, milk, coffee... a lovely thoughtful gesture indeed. The cottage was cosy, peaceful and warm... I really could not expect a better place to stay. In the morning I enjoyed watching the squirrals playing in the garden.. gives an indication of the peacfulness of the country setting in which the cottage was set. Susie and Rod were absolutely wonderful hosts to us during our five day stay in Northern Ireland. We attended The Open in Portrush on two of our days and they had many suggestions and recommendations on how to travel to and experience the venue. Our living area was very spacious and our hosts made sure all our needs were met. I would heartedly recommend this location to everyone. Susie and Rod are a very warm and friendly couple.

One of the very best!

Vickie and I made our first ever trip to Northern Ireland last week. We had a full week at Robin Cottage and we were not disappointed. Everywhere we went in Ulster we found the people to be so friendly and helpful. Suzy and Rod were the most excellent of hosts and went out of their way to make sure that our stay turned out to be so good. They knew that it was Vickie's birthday on the 1st full day there and even went to the trouble of leaving a freshly baked birthday cupcake complete with a single candle (!). She really appreciated that gesture along with the bottle of white wine that was being chilled. Robin Cottage was without doubt the best equipped self catering cottage that we have ever stayed in. It was spotless and there's little doubt that when we return to Ulster we will make a further booking for it if and when it is available. Thank you so much for everything that you did for us. We returned home well refreshed and full of very happy memories. We must not forget Suzie & Rod's pets...Daisy the dog and Rambo the cat....they also made a fuss of us despite the fact that Rambo seemed to prefer picking fights with the local squirrels. Do take care of yourselves Suzie and Rod. You are very special people who own a very special cottage!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Rod and Suzie were so nice to us. We would recommend anyone to stay here. The cottage was clean and spacious with everything you would need. The summer house is lovely to sit and have a glass of wine . The area is quiet but not too far from all the tourist attractions. I can't thank them enough for our fantastic experience
