About this house rental
Cozy detached house (early '800) on three levels in the historic center of Motta Camastra (450 s.m.), a small medieval village a3Km from the Alcantara Gorges and a few Km from Taormina - Isola Bella - Etna. Composed of a large kitchen-living room with a double sofa bed, a double bedroom, and a second bedroom with two beds, all with private bathroom. Ideal for a quiet holiday between sea and mountains, or as a starting point to get to know the most beautiful places in Eastern Sicily.

Motta Camastra is a family treasure that has been painstakingly and beautifully restored. The town is very old, population about 800. The residents are very friendly and helpful. The town sits on a mountain top with beautiful vistas and fabulous sunsets. Fabulous views of Mt Etna. Not the easiest to druve to sitting on a mountain top. VERY winding road up to the town with many SHARP hairpin turns--not for the faint of heart!
Host and hostess were extremely nice.

Nous avons apprécié l'appartement et son incroyable vue sur l'Etna, de même que les commodités de cette cité médiévale. La Trattoria Del Corto, dans le village, sert d'excellents repas typiques de la Sicile. Allez-y vous ne serez pas déçu. La Cook, Francesca et son époux, Carmelo, sont des hôtes incroyables.
