Fine if traveling with pets but accommodation could be better
The place is ideal if you’re traveling with animals or pets as it is located in a wooded area. The surroundings are pleasant and the town centre is only a short drive away (15-20min). Old Rennes is very charming with plenty of nice cafes, restaurants and shops.
The bungalow for two is quite small and uncomfortable. The corridor going to the bedroom is too narrow even for one person to walk through and gets blocked if the cupboard doors are open. Moving around is like a jigsaw puzzle and there is no room around the bed: you practically have to throw yourself on it. Bathroom is small but adequate with a separate toilet. We paid for the extra options and unfortunately the bed lined was quite stained. The wall shelves in the bedroom were covered with other people’s hair and dust residue. It’s a pity that there isn’t just a bit more room as the concept itself is not bad. Don’t know how much space there is in the other outbuildings but if you’re a couple please consider getting a bigger one unless you want to spend your time trying to figure out how to get around without stepping on each other’s toes.

A great stay in the centre of renne
+ Really great campsite. + A dead easy place to get to from Rennes airport, without the need to hire a car or take a taxi. We travelled on the C6 and C5 buses - dead easy and takes about an hour. + The campsite is approximately an hour's walk from the centre of Rennes, or a 25 min bus journey. +It's very peaceful at night + Although there's no campsite pool or bar, there's a bar in the Gayeulles Park that's even closer than many campsite bars would be. + Walk 10 minutes in the other direction and there's a municipal swimming pool with a lane pool, and separate leisure (wave) pool and childrens pools. + The accommodation was superb - built more solidly than a standard mobile - so really does feel like it could be used year round. + The staff were incredibly friendly - and we noted there was an evening security guard who walked around the site + There was a pizza truck at the park bar a few nights we were there - some of the best pizzas I've ever had + There's a really good playarea on the campsite, and an even better one in Gayeulles Park + There's an Intermarche Hyper approx 15 mins walk away, and an Aldi and McDonalds approx 10 mins walk away. + Next to Aldi, there's "V and B" - a really good beer and wine off license with a bar at the rear, and outside, serving great, modern French, Belgian, and German beers. Well worth a visit if you enjoy beer.
    - Bedroom in the accommodation was very small - made getting up in the night almost impossible for the person next to the window - The wall-mounted storage cupboards in the bedroom are lethal in combination with the tiny room - it's too easy to bash your head on them - The layout of the Saint-Anna isn't great. I'd recommend the Gabriel instead - Chips from the food truck onsite were inedible - completely uncooked (although that's not the campsite's fault, I realise) - One evening, the Gayeulles Park bar had a Techno evening on. The official end was 2200 when the main sound system was switched off - but "boom box" noise could be heard until 0500. Note this was one of the two main French "holiday saturdays", and we had no issue with noise the rest of the time - the fence around the campsite was low, so overall campsite security was patchy

    I had a great adventure in a cabin in a tucked-away campsite.
I stayed in the smaller of the cabins available. It's pretty basic, with a mattress and pillow, but it's comfortable, and quiet. I really appreciated the picnic table built into the front, with a little roof to keep off any rain. Bread and pastries can be ordered the day before for collection from reception. There is a cafe and lake to the south of the campsite which makes a lovely spot for breakfast.
It is a bit out of town, requiring a bus trip to Gayeulles Piscine. From there it's about a 10 minute walk past the swimming pool and a school farm - but you can't expect a camp site to be in the centre of town ! The only thing I might have wanted from the cabin was USB sockets. I packed the wrong adaptor, so was unable to use the power available in the cabin - however, USB charging is available if you are happy to leave your device at reception.

Impressive campsite and surroundings with great transport links - all exceededing my expecations
We liked the design and atmosphere of this modern campsite along with the friendly hosts that did their best to accomodate us. We were delighted to have been upgraded, due to a double booking error. This meant our accommodation was far more impressive, spacious and comfortable than we were expecting, than our original booking fee entitled us to. The free wifi was appreciated and there was even an outdoor event happening nearby that evening with a DJ and food/drink that we were able to take advantage of. I will definitely come back, if I return to Rennes.
Only that I couldn't stay more than one night to explore the area and enjoy the facilities!

    Nice stopover at rennes
Nice and quiet at night. Comfy beds. The restaurant by the lake was lovely, very chilled.
Couch not very comfy! Small, but fine for 2 night stay. Metro about 15/20min walk. Bus 7/8 min walk but because of diversions, you can only get it into rennes centre.

NOISY. NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU LIKE SLEEPING.
Brilliant, helpful staff. Unique glamping opportunity. The city lodges are amazing. Easy access into Rennes by metro.
The campsite is directly beside a park bar which has loud thumping music from afternoon into the night. Not normal music that we have enjoyed many times in park bars. This is aggressively loud, vibrating into the campsite making sleep entirely impossible. Not the fault of the staff but certainly destroying the ambience of the campsite, making it impossible to enjoy.

We were very impressed by the overall quality. The only down side was that we couldn't stay longer!
The baguettes, croissants and brasserie meals were great and the staff friendly and very helpful. All the campers we saw seemed happy with the site, which made it a lovely, relaxing environment
It would have been useful if the brasserie had opened before 6.30pm and if the breakfast had been available before 8.30

Very green and peaceful. Rabbits, squirrels and birds seem happy to live there. This adds to the feeling of not being in a city at all.
