Great location, not impressed by the service

The location is top tier, wonderful panorama and great property

The host wasn't very friendly, just as an example I asked for prosciutto for breakfast and she told me she had it but wouldn't give it to me as it was salame day (weird choice to only have one choice up to the host for breakfast in a farmhouse). There was a wedding, which we weren't advised of beforehand, and the rooms could be cleaner.

Lovely picturesque Vinyard stay.

Property is a vast and charming winery with much outdoor farm ambiance. It has a great view. Pool area was beautiful, large and clean. Unit was spacious, patio was lovely, air conditioning was haven sent. Town was within 10 minutes. Location was in close proximity to Pisa, livorno, and Florence. It was nice to have a restaurant on site as we arrived very late. Chef made us some lovely pasta at nearly midnight after a long day of travel. Staff was extremely accommodating and kind.

The only recommendation I would make is to stock the kitchen and bath with a few essentials. Salt and pepper, olive oil, additional toilet paper, dish soap, and ice would have been nice.

It was quite challenging to find the place and the road to the resort is unpaved with large pits. There is only one tiny (hotel style like 30-50 ml) bottle of shampoo / shower gel for all family for all stay

Breathtaking Views - Tranquil Location

Stunning location, Laura, the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Apartment was very spacious and clean, the large terrace had excellent views of the sea and we really enjoyed sunsets there. Pool was spacious and very quiet, our family was alone at the pool the majority of the time. Access to a washing machine for a small fee. We wished we were staying longer and look forward to returning in the future.

The loft room was a little difficult to access, steep ladder only.

A huge, beautiful and tranquil property - the perfect place to spend a weekend!

Amazing couples getaway at Casale del Mare! Beautiful property surrounded by nature - horses, vineyards and olive trees. The pool, restaurant and location were a dream. Once you arrive, it's a stellar place with friendly staff and a delicious restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but not bad.

We didn't see any AC, but thankfully it was a cooler night. Lots of flies around the bedroom and breakfast area, which was a bit of a downside. We walked up to the property from the central train station, and it was a bit further than anticipated. Google maps shows a main road, but it's more of a hiking path through the woods so plan suitcases accordingly.

Not something you expect when you pay around 100€ per night.

In general, very nice property with beautiful garden, sea view, swimming pool, horses etc. Very quiet at night. Nice terrace facing the garden with old olive trees. Free parking. Friendly and welcoming personnel, good breakfast.

To our surprise our apartments were much older than it was at the pictures. The design is nice, but I believe it saw it best times about 20 years ago. Everything was shabby, rusty and simply too old. - Very very old and extremely uncomfortable and noisy bed. We literally had to sleep in holes curved by hundreds of previous guests. - Old kitchen. Fridge old and not properly build in, therefore its door was not closed properly (and fridge was running non-stop due to that). - Kitchen is not that well equipped: pens are very old and theirs coating is so much damaged that it must be life-dangerous to cook with them. Only one big and not sharp knife is available. - No cleaning, no additional toilet paper are included into the room price. Not something suitable when you pay around 100€ per night. - Once during our stay there were a wedding party in the garden in front of our terrace, so we had loud music and many guests marooned around until the late evening. Not something you expect to have when you book a room "outside of the city, far away from the noise".

Great welcome and spacious accommodation.

Cleverly designed spacious accommodation with access to gardens, pool and the surrounding land. Great hosting from Laura and her team. Fabulous views of the coast and islands and its possible to walk down to Castiglioncello.

Access by road is challenging due to the condition of the road, wished I'd hired a car with bigger wheels. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.

Casale del Mare hat uns gut gefallen. Die Aussicht und der Pool waren bemerkenswert. Hier konnte man sehr gut abschalten. Alle waren rundum freundlich. Das Frühstück war absolut in Ordnung.

Es war sehr hellhörig (wie meistens im Süden :)).

Lage des Anwesens und des Appartements gut, toller Ausblick, Pool super! Chefin und Personal sehr freundlich! Weine des Hauses ausgezeichnet!

Poolbar-Preise f Essen sehr überteuert. Appartement abgewohnt, schlampig geputzt, Küchenkästen und Geschirr muffig, Herd und Wasserkocher gehen nur sehr sehr langsam, Spinnweben, … WLAN unbrauchbar. Die Empfehlungen in der Mappe in der Pension sind mit Vorsicht zu genießen: Strand und Gastro im Ort unten sind zum Vergessen Unterm Strich haben wir uns um diesen Preis viel mehr erwartet.

Der wundervolle Blick, der schöne, sehr gepflegte Pool, die gesamte Anlage, die Größe und Einrichtung des Zimmers und die freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin mit Ihrem gesamten Team.

Nur Verbesserungsvorschläge: Die Matratze und die Auflagen für die Liege am Pool waren ziemlich hart und es gab während unseres Aufenthaltes zu oft etwas geschmackloses Toastbrot zum Frühstück, was schade ist, weil es ja in der Toskana so viele tolle Brotvarianten gibt 😀

Schöne Lage, Frühstück eher einfach und Restaurants und Strand sind nur mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Schöne Lage auf einem Hügel mit Blick über das Meer. Das Hotel hat zudem eine schöne Außenanlage mit Pool.

Wir waren am Wochenende dort und jeden Abend waren private Veranstaltungen, welche bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut waren. Zudem sind die Räume schlecht Schallisoliert. Dadurch konnten wir uns weniger gut erholen. Das Frühstück ist eher einfach mit kleiner Auswahl und weniger geeignet für vegane Ernährung. Für Essen und Restaurants muss man immer in die Stadt fahren (ca. 10 Minuten). Das Restaurant am Hotel hatte während unserem Aufenthalt nie für normale Gäste geöffnet.

man wollte uns 2 Personen nicht einmal ein Tisch für das Nachtessen geben es sei alles besetzt alle Tische waren nicht besetzt den ganzen Abend eine Frechheit! Der Wirt des Restaurant offensixhtlich auch Koch sagre mir das die Besitzerin vom Hotel einen Dachscahden nicht ganz normal im Kopf sei und Sie uns nicht informierte das das Restaurant getrennt sei. Dann um 10.30h fragte ich nochmals nach für ein Nachtessen für 2 Personen plätzlich siehe da für gut 150 Euro durften wir am Tisch sitzen und essen. Dieses HOTEL ist absolut schmuddelig nichts sauber Blut am Toilettenndrücker gereinigt wurde es wahrscheinlich vor einem Jahr letzte Saison Achtung Frühstück will der Wirt noch seperat verrechnen 1 spärlicher Kaffe und 1 Scheibe Cotto sonst nicht für 15 Euro pro Person. !!!!

Esperienza sensazionale

La struttura è magnifica e immagino che in piena stagione sia sfruttata ancora meglio. È davvero ben fornita ed ha tante comodità. Laura, la proprietaria, è stata gentilissima e davvero accogliente. Consiglio anche di comprare qualche bottiglia d’olio o di vino fatto da loro, davvero buoni. Torneremo fra un paio di settimane e non vediamo l’ora.

L’unica cosa è che magari il comune potrebbe agevolare la struttura mettendo a posto la strada sterrata che la collega alla strada principale. Ma non dipende dalla struttura in sé.
