The location and setting were perfect! The gardens were magnificent. The room was small and basic.
The price point was good. The staff was helpful. We enjoyed the fire pit
The refrigerator froze our canned beverages.

The location was good - close to everything we wanted to do. The grounds were nicely landscaped. Morning coffee in the office lobby was good with a nice patio.
The furnishings were worn and not comfortable. The bathroom needed a good scrub and new paint. Linens and pillows on the bed felt cheap and scratchy. Our room was on the first floor, with others pacing the squeaky floor above late into the night. The air conditioner was extremely loud each time it kicked in, waking me up countless times all night even with the other fan running to drown it out. The dehumidifier in the room was essential throughout our stay because the room was very musty.
