About this apartment rental

Exclusive luxury air-conditioned duplex atico (penthouse), split over the top two floors (5th plus one) of a smart well maintained apartment complex, just across the road from a sandy beach in Denia. This spacious apartment is set over 1,097 sq ft internal living area and has 4 terraces providing an additional 560 sq ft of external space to relax in. The two-level aticos in this complex are larger than the apartments on the lower levels, which are all single floor.

The apartment comprises 3 double bedrooms (one with ensuite bath/shower), fully fitted kitchen, lounge/diner with seating for 8 people at the extendable dining table. The lounge area includes a new reclining sofa and UHD 4K 43" smart TV. This leads onto the main sun terrace with another dining table for 6 people to dine al fresco, alongside 4 sun loungers. This large sun terrace has two supersized electric awnings and overlooks the attractive communal area, pool and gardens, with mountain views in one direction and sea view in the other.

The main bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and an additional washroom, are all on the lower level, which means two guests will not need to use the internal stairs at all during their stay.

The upper level comprises bedroom #2 (twin beds which can be placed together) and bedroom #3 (full size bunk beds), another large family bathroom, and two small terraces.

The lounge has a Samsung UHD 4K 43" smart TV with free access to Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+ plus Blu-ray/DVD player and ultra fast WiFi (1000Mb/1Gbps).

The large attractive swimming pool has a separated shallow section for toddlers to splash around in. For the adults, there is also a jacuzzi pool adjacent to the swimming pool. The pool is set in beautiful, well maintained gardens, with a childrens play area visible from the pool, and a paddle court to the rear of the complex. The closest sandy beach is just a couple of minutes walk away, and has its own beach bar (in season).

The complex is very secure and has underground car parking for residents/guests.

You will also find high quality ceramic tiles throughout, and equipment for children/babies (inc cot, highchair, steriliser).

Excellent location, close to stylish bars, restaurants and cafes - just 1 minute walk from the beach, 5 minutes from the new marina, and less than 15 minutes walk into the centre of Denia town.

PRICING AND DISCOUNTS
Pricing is highly seasonal. I offer discount levels for stay durations of 7 and 28 nights (and sometimes for 10 nights and 14 nights). I also offer early booking discounts for bookings 4 months or more in advance. The discounts scale up the further in advance you book, starting from 4 months up to 9 months in advance. Occasionally I also offer last minute discounts for bookings in the next 30 days, but you will have to be quick and very lucky to grab one of these in peak season as I am usually fully booked mid June - mid September. All discounts are automatically applied online.

LONG-TERM RENTALS WELCOME

LOCAL DINING
There are many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment, some are located within 2 minutes walk. The town centre has a wide selection of amazing restaurants including tapas bars, pizzerias, steak houses, and the new marina has a number of stylish bars, cafes and restaurants at the far end.

LOCAL SHOPS
A good small supermarket, Troya, is located just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment, heading toward the town centre. The local pharmacy, Farmacia Nautic is virtually adjacent to Troya. Larger supermarkets (Mercadona, Carrefour and Mas y Mas are all similar to Sainsburys or Tesco superstores) are located in the town centre.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Water, safari and theme parks can be found in and around Benidorm which is a 30 minute drive down the coast. The new Marriot Golf & Spa Resort, which adjoins the golf course at La Sella, has a choice of 5 restaurants and a Alanya Spa available to non-residents. For a special evening out, the Benidorm Palace has a spectacular show with dinner, wine and dancing and is reputed to have one of the largest stages in the world. For a more intimate Spanish style dinner/dance flamenco experience, Viva Espana is located 25 mins to the north in Oliva.

TRAVEL
Many airlines, including low-budget airlines like EasyJet and Ryanair fly from Stansted, Luton, and Gatwick to Valencia and Alicante airports. Denia is located in the Costa Blanca, halfway between Valencia and Alicante airports (both approx 90 km / 1 hours drive). A single motorway (AP7) links both airports to Denia, and we have comprehensive map/directions to make sure you find us easily. Having a rental car is not strictly necessary but is of course useful. Alternatively a taxi from the airport is about 140 Euros each way. Once you are at the apartment, you don't really need a car - there are plenty of bars/restaurants within 10 mins walk, and the town centre is just 12-15 mins walk away - but you will find it useful if you wish to drive to some of the other magnificent beaches in the area.

MORE ABOUT DENIA, MARINA and BEACHES
Denia is a beautiful coastal town, with a castle and large marina, lovely sandy beaches and bustling town centre, renowned for its amazing restaurants and bars.

The large marina has different names to distinguish each end of the marina. The southside is called Marina de Denia, and the apartment is just two minutes walk from the entrance to this side of the marina. There are several very nice lounge bars and restaurants along this marina, including Zensa Rooftop Beachclub with its rooftop swimming pool at the far end of the marina.

Going north, next there is Real Club Nautico Denia which also has a gym and inside swimming pool.

The centre of Denia (Marques de Campo) is opposite the middle point of the marina. The town centre is full of great shops, restaurants and bars for you to discover.

Going further north along the seafront you get to Porte de Denia, the Balearia ferry port.

Finally, the northside of the marina is called Marina El Portet de Denia, and this also has a number of nice restaurants and lounge bars, including Lamarserena, a very cool rooftop bar.

The beaches in Denia are situated to the north and south of the marina. So the closest beach to the apartment is on the southside, and is called Playa de la Marineta Casiara. It is just one minute walk from the apartment. It is a nice sandy beach, and gets even better as you walk along the beach away from the marina. About 100m along this beach you will find beach bars and sun loungers to rent (in season).

To the north of the marina, there are long stretches of even wider and even more beautiful beaches to explore. The start of these beaches is about a 30 minute walk from the apartment (6-7 mins in a car).

These gorgeous beaches to the north of Denia, and further afield in places like Javea, are truly stunning, and definitely worth a visit. However most of the time (especially with small children), we preferred the convenience of the local sandy beach just a couple of minutes walk away. We had a great time. Denia is a lovely town and seems to be a big hit with Spanish tourists which is always a good sign. The apartment was comfortable for the four of us. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Overall the apartment was a little tired which is why only four stars but we would recommend the apartment and the location which was close to the beach and the town. Underground parking was also a welcome benefit too.

The apartment is quite spacious and was very convenient for us with 6 persons. The airconditioning is keeping the rooms cool during summer. Kitchen has everything to cook a great meal and the pool and beach / port closeby are beautiful. Well recommended.

We were very pleased with the apartment and its equipment – it had everything we needed and more! We were traveling as a group of seven, including two adults and five kids, and the space was absolutely perfect for us.The apartment is very spacious and well-equipped. It has everything you might need during your stay. The living room is lovely and cozy – a great place to relax together as a group. There are actually three terraces, which was such a nice surprise, giving us lots of outdoor space to enjoy the sun and the views.We were also really impressed with the overall quality and comfort of the apartment. The area is absolutely amazing – peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. The swimming pool is lovely, very accessible, and not overcrowded at all, which made it perfect for the kids and for some quiet time.Denia itself is a beautiful town with lots of great restaurants, charming places to walk around, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are really happy with our holiday and can wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to relax – whether you're a family with children or a group of adults, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Location was perfect for us. The apartment was very clean , very well equipped with a great welcome pack and lots of space. The beds and linens could do with an upgrade as they weren't comfortable. The lower star rating is because of the issue with keys. We struggled to manage with one within our group dynamic. We also made a mistake and took the key to post back which we know we shouldn't have. Dealing with property manager was prompt and efficient but less so for the onsite staff.
