La Quinta Hacienda "Desert Retreat" is a resort style compound home located at the very "Top of the Cove" on a quiet street, just steps to popular Bear Creek walking trailhead. Beautiful desert landscaping on corner lot surrounded by privacy wall with wood gated entrance. Home is designed for natural light to flow into all windows as there are expansive desert mountain views from the inside living room, dining room and kitchen areas to enjoy. Relax around your beautiful landscaped garden courtyard with plenty of palm trees and bougainvillea that surround the saltwater pool and spa patio areas with garden fountain too.
The hacienda "Desert Retreat" is located at the Historic La Quinta 'Top of the Cove" on a quiet street just a few steps to the Bear Creek Canyon Oasis walking trail which is also popular for running and mountain bicycles. Our downtown area "Old La Quinta" for fine dining and shopping is just down the street. The outdoor patio barbeque area has 6 different sitting areas to lounge in with plenty of bougainvillea, lemon trees and palm trees to view. Just read all the 5 Star reviews from past guest!
Once inside, relax in front of the fireplace and enjoy all of the custom artwork and furnishings throughout the home. Open level floor plan with vaulted ceilings and porcelain tile floors. Dimmer lights switches are all over the hacienda. Have your family all gather around our formal dining area with wood table and chairs with lighted cabinets. All bedroom sets are new with new fresh linens and pillows. Separate bar area and washer/dryer too. High Speed 5G Internet for all devices, large Smart TV with Netflix plus Bose Stereo Radio. Kitchen and pantry are stocked with everything you need.

Excellent place for a getaway. super clean and very private. Everything in the house were in the right place, pool snd the spa super clean. Daniel was friendly and very helpful after the Sundance condominium property ID: 836245 located in downtown Palm springs canceled ( by the owner) our reservation i had just 2 days before our departure. we had airlines tickets and car rental paid for and under a lot of stress at that point until i contacted Daniel. He is a great host and he wanted to be sure we will have a great time and we did.
Excellent place and i highly recommended this place

Nice home. Well decorated and well appointed. Close to hiking and reasonably proximate to restaurants and markets. Outdoor patio was very nice. Refridgerator and Freezer were on the blink and not cooling adequately. Thankfully there was a fridge in the garage which worked well as save our food from going off.

Thanks Daniel for sharing your home. We had such a nice stay and the house is very cozy and so beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything we needed. We spent our two days here at the Indian Wells tennis tournament and enjoyed coming back in the evening to the house. Also took nice walk around neighborhood and up the trails a bit. Wishing we had more time to enjoy the beautiful patios and local haunts.

Our stay at the Desert Retreat was wonderful !! The home itself is furnished beautifully with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and there is gorgeous art everywhere. There are numerous outside spots on the patio to enjoy the mountain views, beautiful weather or a dip in the pool. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the downtown La Quinta area and the Tennis Garden. Daniel, the owner, is helpful and replies quickly to any questions you may have.
