Walking distance to golf course, tennis, cross country skiing & hiking trails - We offer 2 kayaks & 2 paddle boards for your use. There are 6 BR'S, each w/ a private full bath. Antiques and camp furnishings throughout- A gourmet kitchen with granite & stainless appliances awaits you. The luxury camp's kitchen is totally equipped with the finest cooking needs - One king, 3 queen & 4 twin beds. Sleeps 12. Hear the loons from the windows & watch the magnificent sunrise...There is original artwork throughout, two grand stone fireplaces, a wrap-around porch (partially screened), an all season sun porch, full laundry room & much more. If you are looking for the perfect place for a family gathering, a group of friends, or small business meeting , this at a truly one-of-a-kind four season vacation destination, Camp Bearberry is for you. have plenty of room in this great old home with a great cabin feel. Direct view of the lake and along backyard with a dock. Two neighbors on either side directly on the lake but they were kind and happy to have us. Lots of snow and lots of single-digit temps while we were there. Used the fireplace a ton and the Wi-Fi - both worked great and there was a huge stack of firewood. Everything you can think of was provided at the house.

The property is spectacular and the host, Kathie, could not be kinder and more welcoming. We are very grateful to her for opening her lovely home to us and hope to return in the future.

Communication was great before, during, and after. The house is well equipped and there is a bathroom in every bedroom!! Unheard of around here. We’ve already booked the house for 2026.

Amazing home and property on Lake Placid!The property is beautiful, uniquely situated to enjoy the lake, and the views are stunning. In addition, our hosts were extremely professional, helpful, thoughtful and easy to work with. We would return there in a heartbeat! The home is beautifully furnished, cozy, comfortable, clean and was true to the listing description. The property is unique in that it also has a pontoon boat and a delightful waterfront pier/gathering area, making morning coffee and evening cocktails a near religious experience! Knowing that our family was celebrating some great time together, our considerate hosts left us a wonderfully well equipped kitchen with most of the basics for our gourmet family cooking! They really made us feel welcome. What a great experience!
