About this house rental
This beautiful and state-of the art 6,600 square foot home is located on the southern most point of Upper Saranac Lake on 5 acres, in a protected but large cove, 20 minutes from Lake Placid. It is wonderful for both Summer and Winter rental (See our video in this ad!). The house sleeps up to 20 people, has a large and beautiful great room with kitchen. We have recently added an outdoor hot tub, for up to 7 people that is near our fire pit for year round use. We also have a beautiful 24' Pontoon boat available which seats up to 14 people - please contact the owner about this if interested. If you should need a wedding or events coordinator, we can help there too! Among your activities:

This is a fantastic home for a family gathering! We slept 16 comfortably and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. You can't beat the location and the view from the deck is amazing. The owner and team made us feel welcome and included a helpful orientation binder and helpful hints throughout the house where needed. Highly recommend and we hope to return again for another family celebration!!

We had a spectacular week at Camp Eastwood on Saranac Lake. The home is beautiful and easily accommodated our family of 14. We rented the pontoon boat which served us well for daily cruises and plenty of fishing. The campfire is perfectly situated for quiet family time to cap off our busy days. Thank you for your hospitality, we would love to return another time in the future!

Everything about our stay and dealings with the owner was superb. The home is exceptionally appointed. The furniture is top shelf and in excellent shape. The kitchen is well stocked with anything and everything you will need. The family room has a pool table and fooseball, just outside is a huge hot tub and the fire pit is a great place for the the family to spend the end of the evening together while listening to the Loons.
Breakfast on the deck, overlooking the lake, is a fantastic way to start your day and there is so much to do in the area. The Olympic Village of Lake Placid is about 40 minutes away with ice skating, shopping, Whiteface Mountain Gondola Ride, Bobsled and Luge Runs, Ski Jump Park. There is also plenty of hiking in the area. If you want to stay more around the house, renting the pontoon boat from the owner and cruising absolutely stunning Saranac Lake is so relaxing and stunningly gorgeous.
Speaking of the pontoon boat, this is an example of how much the owner cares about your stay. There were some mechanical issues with the boat. The owner went way out of his way for a solution by having one of his neighbors allow us the use of his pontoon boat. That is a creative solution to what could have been a huge disappointment. That is the service you can expect from this owner.
