Breakfast was good but you only had one choice then paid for extras. For the price these should have been included. But the quality was good. Needs better coffee.

Have filtered water which is great, not cold though. Other places I have stayed have the filtered hot and cold water system.

Good location. Private. Easy access and really nice open layout. It’s a 1 minute walk to The Cashew Tree (amazing food and beautiful courtyard). If you’re a walker, there are a few hills to keep your heart rate up. The beaches all involve many steps or a steep slope, so be prepared. The cliff tops have a SW aspect so the sunsets are great. Depending on where you’re going you can often walk on side roads to reduce the traffic.

With the Bingin beach closure 2025 you may need to travel elsewhere for beach or water activities. (google it and don’t rely on the satellite picture as there’s actually nothing there anymore)

Our family of four adults had a great week at Bingin Castaways. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and the bathrooms were clean, and all kept clean by the Manager, Desi, and her team. We had breakfast made for us each day, with a varied menu to choose from; the banana pancakes and mixed juice were our favourites. The villas are well located, just near the fabulous Cashew Tree restaurant/cafe and gym. There are spas nearby for massages and a nearby laundry. It’s a great location. We hired bikes and there was an area at the front for parking. Just a short stroll to Bingin Beach as well.

After staying in Canggu the last few years it was nice to be in a larger villa with a good sized outdoor area and pool. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. The villa wasn’t ready when we arrived however I was very unwell and they allowed me to go into the bedroom to lay down. They offered assistance with getting a doctor or antibiotics and any thing I would need to feel better. The staff who came to the villa daily were really lovely, helpful and considerate.

Small things would improve the property such as a sink for dishes, a water fountain for cold/boiling water. The property is very outdated in comparison to other villas nowadays however the price point suggests it’s a premium villa. However this isn’t the case, it’s very basic and is in desperate need of some work.
