Perfect

This house is a true gem and it was hard to leave. The location is perfect (just steps away from local shops), the house is breezy and cool, rooms spacious and clean, view from the house sublime, garden a perfect place to play (there are a lot of games for children), and the hosts were a dream. We rented Le Petit Fort as a place to escape from Paris and work remotely and we couldn't have picked a better place. It exceeded our expectations and we plan to come back every year. "We had a wonderful holiday here in the Spring. We loved the village and my children loved staying here so much they wanted to live there forever. On one of the days there was a fantastic market in the street just outside... It was clean and very roomy and romantic... if you like rustic accommodation (creaky boards, chipping paint) you will like it here. It was very peaceful and relaxing and we hope to go back again!"

A very lovely, quiet, peaceful location. The house has all the amenities to make for a good holiday. The town itself is a little bit sleepy, but the people are very friendly! There are many trips to be made from this location. All in all a great comfortable visit.

"A perfect French holiday house does not exist. That is what I thought after going there for about 25 years.It is also the charm of going there. Arriving in Entrains sur Nohain I found that the house was even better than it looked in the pictures shown here. The interior is modern style and decorated with taste, but preserving the charm of an old French house. The place was superb. The next day we found out, to my relief, that there was no hot water.It appeared that the brand new(!)boiler had some software problems, the curse of modern equipment. I was already boiling lots of water to fill up the tube, not for the first time in France. The plumber was on holiday, but she is the type of woman that does not leave before the problem is solved. And so she did. After a very pleasant stay,I can recommend this place to anyone for a nice and quiet stay in the French countryside."

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour dans cette belle maison ancienne, grande, confortable et agréable. La décoration est, sous ses airs naturels, assez sophistiquée les dégradés de couleurs et accords d'une pièce à l'autre sont très réussis. Le jardin est très grand et permet à chacun de trouver son coin. L'accueil de Mme Dolin est très sympathique et Mélita est très attentive au bien être de ses locataires. La maison est dans le village à proximité de petits commerçant accessibles à pied tout en étant au calme. Un séjour parfait pour ce qui nous concerne. Merci.

On se sent tout de suite à l'aise dans cette grande maison bourguignonne avec une ambiance intérieure italienne. Elle est très agréable à vivre : discuter dans le grand salon autour de la cheminée ou bien jouer du piano dans le salon de musique ou encore faire des jeux, du yoga, etc... dans le grand espace du 2ème étage et les chambres permettent de s'isoler pour écrire, lire au calme. On peut tout autant profiter du jardin avec ses allées de buis et les jeux mis à disposition amuseront petits et grands. L'offre touristique de la région est variée et abondante. Bref, nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Nous reviendrons !

Nous avons passé un très agréable weekend prolongé dans cette superbe et confortable maison, à la décoration soignée et bourrée de charme. Parfaite pour passer du temps au calme entre amis et avec des enfants, avec tout ce qu'il faut sur place et des commerces pratiques à quelques mètres à pied. C'est un lieu idéal pour une réunion de famille ! La maison, chargée d'histoire, est magnifiquement décorée et entourée d'un vaste jardin (clos) hors du temps où s'y retrouver est un pur bonheur ! L'intérieur est très propre, les chambres sont très spacieuses, la cuisine bien équipée. C'est un lieu qui a une âme et que l'on quitte avec regret. Merci à Mélita et Jean-Paul pour leur accueil.
