About this villa rental
An idyllic haven of tranquillity, this small estate is one of the most highly recommended properties on the island. Torre Villa is known locally as Los Naranjos – meaning The orange trees; the grounds boast one of the few remaining orange groves on the island and guests love to wander through the fragrant trees where lemons, peaches, olives, pomegranates and figs can also be savoured, depending on the time of year.
Above the gardens is a stunning pool and terrace area - perfect for relaxing or for a swim with a view. Due to its sheltered position the grounds enjoy a unique abundance of flora and fauna (especially birdlife), and against the backdrop of traditional Menorcan dry stone wall and blue skies, the views from the terrace invite relaxation and the perfect holiday atmosphere. For the more adventurous, the fields around the house conceal a number of interesting historical stone outbuildings and even some caves. Around the garden are abundant trees for pleasant shade, which are perfect for an afternoon siesta or for children to play.
From the terrace, the barbeque area leads into the house. Spacious and open, with a blend of charming traditional and functional modern influences the house is split over 3 floors and can accommodate up to 10 guests (plus additional infants/ cots available on request).
Torre Villa is situated in the Menorcan countryside although less than 10 minutes’ drive to the historical city of Cuitadella which boasts a stunning harbour. It is within easy driving distance (5-10 minutes) of a number of small, sheltered beaches.

Large dining room/ barbeque room: indoor barbeque with fold-open doors onto terrace / next to pool.
Kitchen: fitted kitchen with cooking facilities, oven, microwave and dishwasher.
Living room with seating areas, open fire place and further separate dining area overlooking gardens. WIFI internet, Smart TV, DVD and CD/radio/Ipod.
Newly refurbished WC/ wash room next to the living room, with washing machine and ironing/ cleaning facilities. Please note that the kitchen and living-room areas are not air-conditioned.
Upstairs to:
Master bedroom: very large fully air-conditioned double bedroom with additional single bed and wooden cot. Lovely, large terrace overlooking sheltered fields – perfect for early morning coffee. Ensuite, modern bathroom with shower, bidet and double sink. Bathroom leads from other entrance to:
Bedroom 2: fully air-conditioned with three single beds which is a perfect room for young children. Note that this room is recommended for young children because it is in proximity/ earshot of the master bedroom.
Lower terrace
Bedroom 3 with doors leading directly to lower terrace and garden. Double fully air-conditioned bedroom (+ceiling fan) with en-suite newly renovated bathroom (wc, walk-in shower, double sink).
Bedroom 4 with doors leading directly to lower terrace and garden. Twin fully air-conditioned bedroom (+ceiling fan)with en-suite newly renovated bathroom (wc, walk-in shower, double sink). Extra beds, cot and high chair are available upon request.
Ping Pong table
In the garage next to bedroom 4 you will find a new ping pong table (2021) where young and old can have hours of fun.
Swimming Pool
11m x 6m, depth 1.20m to 1.90m with Roman steps and several surrounding terraces (220m2). On request, and at no extra cost, we will provide a (removable) superior pool fence (1.2 m high and posts 1meter apart) designed to help prevent a toddler from wandering into the pool area. With superior strength mesh and support posts as well as quality components and safety features, it offers parents the finest in pool safety (see pics).

The house sits in idyllic orchards and a beautifully kept garden. The smell of orange blossom was everywhere. And two of the bedrooms open out directly onto this lovely scene, while the upstairs bedroom and adjoining further bedroom and bathroom were ideal for my daughter and granddaughter.
We opted for the safety fence around the pool which was hugely reassuring with a toddler in tow.
We also lit the amazing fire in the open dining room and enjoyed fresh dorada from the beautiful green tiled market in Ciutadella. Five minutes drive into the town with all its winding streets and waterside restaurants, yet we were right in the countryside surrounded by the local stone walled orchards and fields.
The host Ramon was very helpful and answered any queries straightaway by text message.

Ramons villa is beautiful, tucked away in the countryside, but only a 2km from ciutadella.
The villa is spacious, the drive and grounds large and stunning to look out on each day
Everything needed is there.
The pool is large and lovely. We asked for the pool guards to be fitted for the children's safety, and are pleased we did, the pool is quite deep and the kitchen and lounge open straight on to it.
The oranges weren't ripe when we were there, but we did pick a couple of apples, and walked the grounds to see the resident Cockerell and horses.
Ramon is very communicative and happy to share helpful knowledge.
Worth noting there are fans but no aircon, and if, like us, you choose not to hire a car, the distance to the refuse bin drop off is not practical , particularly in the heat.
Probably the most beautiful villa we have stayed in.

We've just returned from a wonderful stay at Torre Villa. The villa is spacious, traditional and well equipped. There are two bedrooms upstairs in the main villa, which have a shared bathroom making it suitable for being in close proximity to our son. The other two bedrooms are accessed on the ground floor outside and are more modern with lovely shower rooms. The pool area is incredible, there are lots of sun loungers and outdoor furniture on the terrace which overlooks an orchard. The grounds are beautiful and it's so peaceful. We requested a pool fence as we had our young son with us, and Ramon was really helpful in recommending a local car hire company for us. Please bear in mind that this villa does not have air conditioning, but we didn't find this an issue as we had fans and the villa was cool inside anyway. The location is near to some beaches and only a short drive to the beautiful Old Town of Ciutadella. I would definitely recommend this villa!
