About this house rental
Trullo & Villa Fumarola is an amazing property with two houses and extra-large private pool. Peaceful Location in the idyllic Itria Valley in the heart of Puglia, 30 Minutes Drive to the coast: This is a wonderful place all year round which offers lots of things to do. Ideal for two or three families or a group of friends. The two houses are detached and completely self-sufficient, yet within close reach of one another. Large garden with lawn and 10 x 10 mt-pool with generous surrounding area and dining table. There is also a large dining table by the pool which is shared. Each house has its own outside dining area and barbecue. We are confident we can recommend this property to anyone, including families with small children (our own kids grew up here). The property is a tranquil, safe and child-friendly environment, the pool is protected by a fence. The garden has a great variety of fruit and olive trees, some hundreds of years old. The whole plot measures about one hectare. There are many attractions in the area: Lots of little towns with wonderful historical centres, Unesco heritage sites like Alberobello (just 15 minutes by car) and Matera, Lecce with its amazing baroque, lots of beaches on both coasts, countless typical restaurants for all budgets...Upon arrival you will find your complimentary Welcome Kit with useful information about the area, such as restaurants, places to see, things to do etc. We have spent so much time exploring this enchanting area and love sharing our findings and insight with our guests. It is our absolute priority to make out guests' vacation here a truly special one. The houses are self-catering and accepting our guests' privacy is paramount. But in case you would like our help with anything at all, we will be more than happy to assist. Whether it's tips for restaurants, horseback riding for all levels, discovering the countryside by bike, picking your favorite beach out of hundreds of miles of coastline, exploring the before mentioned amazing towns and villages, learning all about local wines, olive oil and other local specialties...we could go on and on...Fact is you are spoilt for choice here and one vacation won't be enough to take it all in, so we will be delighted to help make your vacation in Puglia truly special. This is how we intend our role as hosts. Looking forward to welcoming you!

- Help us save energy by using a few simple tricks without, of course, compromising on comfort. Just follow our easy instructions you will find inside the houses.
2) Fight waste
- Separate household waste to help recycle as much as possible. Just follow our simple tips which you will find upon arrival.
- Reusable shopping bags provided.
Refillable bottles for shampoo, shower gel and hand soap.
Most of our detergents are organic and sourced from a tap refill store in Martina Franca.
Our tap water is of good drinking quality (regularly tested). So no need to buy plastic bottles.

- List of local markets for fresh farming produce

Ina was an excellent host right from the time of booking through to when we sadly had to leave. A beautiful property with everything we needed to enjoy our week away with the family. Lovely pool area with plenty of places to sit and eat/relax. Great local knowledge from Ina on where to go to beaches/restaurants/shops. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The villa and the trullo were both fabulous. It accommodated our party of 9 very comfortably.
Ina and Sandro were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries we had.
The setting is amazing and we all fell in love with the three local towns of Martina Franca, Locorotondo and the stunning trullo town of Alberobello. We were also able to visit Lecce and Matera which were both stunning.
The coast was easy to reach too and the beaches are lovely. We didn’t need to do this much as the pool at the villa is large and we made full use of it.
We can highly recommend this villa to large groups of family or friends.

The villa and trullo were a perfect set up for our family. Ina, our host was always very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. She was kind enough to bring additional bedding and towels when requested. The villa was located not far from several charming towns, though the country roads in the area were more challenging to drive than we are used to. Unfortunately the weather wasn't ideal so we were not able to take advantage of the pool. I would recommend having boardgames available for larger groups (more than 2 people) for those rainy and quieter nights in. As well as update the kitchen cupboards/drawers with handles to make them easier to open/close.
Overall the stay was very comfortable, the villa lovely, enjoyable and recommended.

Spent Easter holidays in this amazing trullo, together with some friends. We were lucky enough to stay in both the trullo and the villa and wish we could have spent more time here. Great place, lots of space and comfort, clean and very well kept. Owners are nice and friendly and go out of their way to help you. Having a (rental) car around is recommendable, as it's not in a town centre. Would recommend everyone to stay here!
