We enjoyed our stay at the Masseria very much. For us, the most important things when searching for houses were pool/outdoor space and that the house was big enough to host all ten of us. The swimming pool was fantastic, we all loved it! And the villa was really big with enough space and we never felt crowded. We also liked the privacy of the property and the location “in the middle” was perfect for us that visited many places by car. We drove to Martina Franca (10-15 min) for groceries and a couple of times for dinner in the beautiful old town.
The negative feedback is that there are some room for improvement inside the house. There were smaller things that were not 100% working with maybe the gas stove being the most problematic for us. The front door was difficult to open/close. Also it would be good with more dressers and hangers.
Masseria Fragneto is a great base for exploring Puglia and we had a fantastic stay. There is so much space and the property is beautiful.

Living like lords in a beautiful, spacious, quiet house and property. The house is ideally located to visit the wonderful sites of Puglia--very close to Ostuni, Alberobello, Taranto and close as well to Lecce and Bari and many great beach spots. The owner was very attentive to our needs and has a local manager who came quickly when issues arose. The house has many wonderful details: furniture, art work, nooks, and a chapel on the premises. The pool is huge and the area around the pool area is a great place to relax, eat and drink. Our group would be very happy to go back again.

Our stay was most enjoyable. There was an unfortunate issue with no Wi-fi connection for the week and thunderstorms knocked out the electrics and water for a few hours on two days.
These issues were beyond the control of the host who, along with the caretaker, did all they could, promptly, to address these issues.
The Villa is a beautiful period property with the main feature being the large pool.
The interior and rooms were in keeping with the period of the property spacious and welcoming.
There were a few issues
The falling off of a door handle which the caretaker fixed immediately.
The gas hob only had two burners operating which impacted on the cooking for 9 people.
The outage of electricity was apparently due to the thunderstorms effecting the television antenna which is located near to the villa. The host stressed this never happened before so we were a bit unlucky.
Overall we had a lovely stay in a beautiful property I would suggest it needs a little bit of tender loving care to fix the small issues that we encountered and maybe a generator back up would help in future should there be any outages.
We had a nice time here and the host was always contactable and concerned that we had a pleasant stay.
