Venus Bay Beach Cottage - Free WiFi
This homely cottage, only 800 metres to the beach has recently undergone and extensive renovation which includes new kitchen and appliances, new kitchen utensils, plates and glasses. New chairs, cushions and roller blinds. The property was repainted and the sand stone floors tiles resealed. There is also an outdoor shower for those coming back from the beach.
The ground floor is made up of large kitchen with bench seating for four. Large open plan lounge room with three seater couch, plus two single seaters with new cushions. New flat screen TV with excellent reception so you don’t miss out on any of your favourite sports plus iPod dock.
Heating is provided with wood heater which really pumps the heat. For the summer months we have air conditioning.
There are two double bedrooms downstairs with large attic style bedroom/kids play room upstairs. Outside is a huge sunny front yard with shade from a mature wattle tree providing cool shade and to the rear is a large yard for the kids to play in. We also provide gas BBQ.
The property is fully fenced and gated and pets are welcome.

Bedroom 2: Double bed plus fold-out couch for child.
Bedroom 3 (attic): Double bed, two single beds plus a fold out couch.

Hose was well presented and we took our pets that loved the area.Only negative was the BBQ was very dirty and we could not use it, and there wasn't any firewood for the wood heater, despite being told there was some in the shed.I was happy to buy some which we did.

We really enjoyed our short stay in the cottage. After some initial issues with the hot water the property owner immediately organised a repair and the system was repaired within a few hours. Communications was fantastic and the owners handled the situation exemplary! We would book the cottage again for a visit to Venus Bay! Thank you!

A great place for a long weekend. Kids loved the roof loft and a great area for them to unwind from parents. House clean and good communication with the owners.

Not providing linen and towels was a minus and the floors were dirty. Pillows should have protectors on them.
