Casa Dorina

Techirghiol is a charming little town featuring a distinctive sanatorium, welcoming people, and a lovely lakeside promenade. Casa Dorina is conveniently located just 2 minutes from the first delicious pastry shop, 4 minutes from the lake, and a pleasant 10-minute stroll to the sanatorium. We really appreciated our host, Dorina, who ensured our stay was perfect and provided everything we needed, including extra towels for the beach. The backyard is home to some fruit trees, including sour cherries, peaches, and figs. Most importantly, the air conditioning works exceptionally well! The common areas, such as the well-equipped outdoor kitchen and inviting balconies, are also very nice. We definitely plan to return!

The room is very spacious, the bathroom is also bigger than you would expect and the lady who rents out the space is also very kind and pleasant. The bed linens were very clean, A/C was good and powerful and the area around is quiet so you will always have a goos night's sleep.

There is no fridge in the room, not even a small one. There is a shared kitchen with a fridge outside, but you have to go downstairs to the common space every time you need to grab something drom the fridge.

It’s a family home and it feels like it: warm, approachable, helpful - unlike the impersonal functionality of a hotel. It is quiet, simple and comfortable. The hosts go out of their way to make your stay comfortable; the host lady Dorina helped us make polenta and gave us baby clothes as gifts for our daughter.
