This is the place for you if you want a no stress few days. We are hoping to return.

We could not have asked for better hosts, a better location nor a more comfortable little property. I'm not one for overly glowing praises, but honestly, we were blown away. On arrival, it was easy to park, and our host took us around to the flat. It is simply laid out, but everything we needed was there. The impression is of generosity, plenty of cutlery and crockery, the little gestures of milk and juice in the fridge, a packet of Mr Kipling cakes, packets of cereal, shampoo and soap, herbs and spices etc. It made our stay so easy. There's a lovely little garden behind, and beyond that a view of fields. So relaxing. Our host gave us a lift to the village church the following day (we were attending a family funeral), which was very much appreciated, as parking is quite difficult in the narrow little village. Thank you both so much for your generosity of spirit.

The fact that we only had 2 nights, and had to return home. It would have been lovely to have stayed longer.

Our stay was excellent and we would definitely return if we are in the area again.

We were supplied with basic essentials including milk, orange juice, tea/coffee a selection of cereals and biscuits. Everthing we needed for breakfast. We loved the quiet location and gorgeous views. Great to have free parking on site. Very nice helpful hosts. Walking distance of nice pub and short drive to village and beach.

Enjoyable stay

Nice apartment with everything you would need. Friendly hosts. Two pubs within walking distance. Very narrow roads leading to the accommodation, basically single track roads.

Location is ideal for touring north Devon. Accommodation was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Host were very friendly and helpful especially as my wife has mobility issues.

The location was perfect for us.

Unfortunately our stay was completely ruined on day 2 when we returned from our day out to be interrogated by the owners as to why we felt the need to wash the bedding, baring in mind we just had record temperatures- my partner is also on medication and a side affect is night sweats. We used the washing machine provided and hung the bedding out before we headed out for the day. We arrived back around 9:30/10pm and as we came to our door we were met by the owners. They couldn't believe that we took it apon ourselves to wash our bedding (who wants to sleep in a sweaty bed?! 🤣) The woman made a sarcastic comment about the place better be tidy when we leave so I asked if she would like to inspect it, which she said yes. Much to her surprise the place was spotless, we are nearly 30 years old and felt like teenagers getting a row off their parents. The woman assumed we were having parties/drinking and had trashed the place or something, she said she felt ill all day worrying about her house, to which we said why didn't you just message us and we would have explained. I was left on the phone in tears to family back home, we have NEVER been made to feel like is and definitely will not return. The place could be cleaner, dusty areas/dirty marks and a bag of nails left behind the TV.

We had a lovely stay at the studio, the countryside views from the garden are stunning and Jerry and Sue are welcoming and friendly hosts. The location was ideal for us and it was very easy to get to all the local beaches.

Lovely friendly, welcoming hosts - Jerry and Sue. Great apartment, everything you could possibly need and more, lovely touches, great soft fluffy towels, nice crisp bed linen, very clean and cosy, comfortable sofa, all your breakfast needs generously catered for - cereals, bacon, eggs, real butter, plenty of tea and coffee ( a must for us) we liked the fact that this was all left in the apartment to help yourselves to. Lots of books if you so wished. The apartment is excellently located in Georgeham - pretty little village with two pubs, we ate at both. Great location near to Croyde, Illfracombe and Woolacombe for sea/ surf lovers and great coastal walks. Spacious apartment, great to come back to relax in after a long day out. Lovely, one of the best we have stayed in - there is nothing not to like. Jerry and Sue clearly want their guests to have a good break and have put lots of thought and care into the accommodation and perfect hosts, they give you the information you need, are on hand, but leave you to enjoy your peace and quiet, thankyou for a great stay !

Everything. It's a super little place with wonderful hosts, so friendly & helpful. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, nice shower room, fabulous views, fridge full of bacon, eggs, milk etc, everything you could need. Highly recommended, can't wait to go back.

The location of the studio was very quiet. Backing onto fields with cattle and sheep it was very relaxing. The small village with two pubs is less than five minutes walk away.

As is typical of this area, the lanes are narrow and there are few passing spaces. Leave the Bentley at home and be prepared to do a bit of reversing to allow the tractor through.
