Apartments Floriańska 24 by MB Apartments

Fabulous location on the edge of the Old Town, ten minutes to train/bus station, five minutes to barbican and two minutes to the main square. I use the website frequently and can honestly say that the hosts responded so promptly, both before and during our stay. Helpful for planning and reassuring when you're there with not having access to a hotel reception Well equipped with fridge, hob and microwave, coffee machine etc Comfy double bed and sofa bed. Great value for money

Unsure at time of booking which apartment we were to be allocated to, and therefore unable to check the facilities on the website. Allocated apartment no. 16 on top floor Some of the fixtures were well used, kitchen worktop/flooring. Bring eye mask/ear plugs as top floor apartment and very bright light through velux

No breakfast, it is self catering. We used a recommended place for breakfast a couple of times that gave a 20% discount which was good. We loved the location, very central, very close to everywhere we wanted to go. Apartment was not top notch but was adequate and reasonably well equipped and clean but it is a bit old. Could have done with an extra couple of pillows!

For 2 nights, Thursday & Friday there is a nightclub next door and the beat of music could be heard up until about 4am! Also, on Friday night/early hours of Saturday morning there was a fairly strong smell of cannabis in our room, not great! Blinds and curtains on windows were old and tatty.

Great location and close to shops and restaurants.

The only problem we had that there was no dishwasher soap

This was a clean, large apartment in an older building which had comfortable beds and was close to many of the main attractions. There were lots of clothes hangars. The closet doors were mirrored. The dining table seated six.

According to Booking.com's website the apartments could communicate by WhatsApp. They do not have WhatsApp. I said that we would be traveling after Sept. 1 and would not have be able to communicate but the proprietor sent instructions for entry on Sept. 11th. We would have been stranded if we had not been able to reach someone back where we were from who was able, with some difficulty, to get to Booking.com where the instructions on how to enter the building were left. The apartment is in an older building and parts of the interior floors are chipped. All 3 apartments assigned were on the first floor. There is no lift. There are 27 steps with a railing on the right as one goes up which does not extend to the bottom three steps so it may not be for the mobility challenged. The ventilation for the stove did not have an ON/OFFswitch that was visible. There were 4 light sources in the bedroom: two bedside lamps, 1 main light in the middle, and one light in front of the windows. The main overhead light did not work. There was a washer, no dryer, but there was a small drying rack. The shower had neither a lower nor an upper attachment for the spray head to clip on to (one could see 4 holes for the screws) necessitating that the shower head be hand held the entire time it was on. The main clothes closet was immediately adjacent to the main door to the apartment. The rod from which clothes were hung was placed at a height of over two meters which meant that a short person could not use it.
