Pleasant enough however they are not ready for prime time tourism.

Someone met us.

Lack of street numbers. No foreign language spoken or attempted by the local population. No tourist info centre available. Food was average to good. Beaches are rocky. Water very clear and warm. Washing machine could be updated. Bathroom shower without curtain. More toilet paper needed. Bus system a little sketchy.

Cheaper option close to the action

Close to the restaurants and ferry terminal. Quiet at night. Facilities good for cooking a meal.

I had to ask for a few things, but these were immediately brought (extra blanket, electric jug). Also there were no English channels for news on the TV (fair enough... I was in Albania!)

Very plaisant stay in this appartment. Everything was great, comfortable, clean and spacious (nice balcony). Location is perfect, walking distance from beaches and center. Definitely recommand it 😇

Location - close to the shop, exchange office, beach, bus stop, promenade. Relatively clean, nice owner.

No curtain in the shower so the whole bathroom was constantly flooded with water and there was not even a squeegee in the bathroom to collect the water, no coffee cups only tiny cups for espresso.

it was on a very busy road with construction work across the road. I could not enjoy the balcony. it was a 10 minute walk to the main promenade. I would have liked a hairdryer in the apartment

It's close to town and the beach. Host was easily accessible by phone, email, text. Spacious place.

When we arrived, we were given a different apartment from what we booked. We were supposed to have two rooms, each with two bedrooms, one with two twins and the other with a full bed. We were given 1 apartment with three bedrooms, containing 2 fulls and 2 twins, and then 3 sofa beds in the living room. We were also offered two one bedroom apartments with one full and two sofa beds. We took the former as it appeared what we actually booked online was not a possibility. Despite having less rooms, actual beds, and kitchens than what we booked, we were not offered any discount, which didn't seem fair. Also, there's no curtains in the showers so the whole floor of the bathroom gets wet anytime you use it.

Surprisingly Disappointing

The room was fine. It was clean and a 15 min walk to the bus station in the center.

This was honestly extremely disappointing. First, I booked and paid more for this specific room because it was advertised as having a sea view, but there was not. Instead, there was a construction site. Second, the wifi didnt work for most of my stay, which was terrible considering I was relying on wifi to check places to go, bus times, and communicate with family. I even had to spend money to use my data to be able to contact the property manager about the wifi, however every few hours the wifi would go down again. Third, the shower has no curtain or box around it so when you shower the whole bathroom floods, and since the shower is next to the toilet that also gets soaked. Lastly, the pillows and bed are very hard and I even woke up with really bad neck pains.

Fantastic place to stay in Saranda

The appartamenti is fantastic. Good size bedroom which doesn't have a shared wall so nice and quiet at night. Separate living / kitchen room with a bed if needed. Plenty of utensils. The balcony is lovely, with a sea view but also shade and a clothes airer. Washing machine shared between 4 rooms. Good bathroom. Very very quiet area, might be as its closed season. Hosts were very nice, friendly and helpful giving advice on where to shop and restaurants. Access to a beach down the side of the building. Would definitely recommend. Stayed an extra 2 nights even though we don't like Saranda Town itself.

Could feel the springs in the mattress a bit. But not as bad as some other places we've stayed

Bardhi (the host) offered us to pick us at our arrival at the port, he also showed to us the best places to visit. the apartment is well located near the port the apartment is clean.

open shower place in bathroom (common issue in Albania), it becomes like swimming pool after each shower.

Okay place overall, not the best, not the worst.

The host is very helpful and responsive. He was nice enough to pick me up from the bus stop.

The beach that is near the apartment is the one full of umbrellas, so for a "free" beach, you are better off closer to the municipal beach, or walking about 15 minutes. There is no view from the apartment. The bed was a bit too soft for me.

Bardhi was a great host. He helped our driver find his place quite easily when we first arrived. He was very communicative before and throughout our stay and helped us with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying at any of his apartments.
