Welcome to Maison Roxanne, your serene escape in the heart of the medieval city of Rhodes. Lovingly restored to blend timeless charm with modern comforts, this enchanting home invites you to step into
Maison Roxanne is an enchanting retreat offering 85 square meters of thoughtfully designed living space, perfect for accommodating up to three adults. The open-plan ground floor features a cozy fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and a living area divided by a charming arch. A comfortable sofa bed provides additional sleeping space, making this home ideal for families or small groups.
Upstairs, you’ll find an open bedroom furnished with a king-size bed, air conditioning, and a wardrobe. The adjoining bathroom is beautifully appointed with a round bathtub, a bidet, and a built-in cabinet with a sink. Convenience is key, with a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen ensuring a hassle-free stay. Entertainment options include a TV with satellite channels and air conditioning on the upper floor for year-round comfort.
Step outside to the garden terrace, where a delightful sitting area invites you to unwind and enjoy an evening barbecue. Maison Roxanne’s private entrance and terrace offer a sense of exclusivity and security. With the owners living next door and readily available to assist, single travelers can enjoy peace of mind alongside privacy.
I would like to inform you that from 01/01/2024 Greece has introduced a new tourist tax for visitors that applies to all types of accommodation rentals.
The current stay-over tax that chargers guests on hotel and villas has been replaced with a new “climate crisis resilience charge”.
This means that the extra daily fee that applies to guests by arrival to the accommodation will be 2 euros per day. This amount can be paid directly to the property owner in cash.
Revenues from this charge will go into a specially created emergency fund for natural disasters.

Equipped with everything you could possibly need, clean, comfortable and quiet. Close to everything we needed without the need to hire a car, lovely to come back to after a days exploring and equally lovely to rest and relax rather than fight the heat & humidity. Claudia is an amazing host with a fabulously relaxed, helpful and friendly demeanour (& Baloo always a welcome)
We will be returning for a 3rd time and will continue to recommend Maison Roxanne to friends & family.

From the off Claudia was a fabulous host and the apartment catered for everything we could have hoped and more. The location was fabulous, the facilities were first rate and Claudia was always available to solve any problems (only 1) and answer any questions. To be able to stay within the Old Town in such a beautiful apartment with such a welcoming host made our holiday all the more special this year. We will be returning.

A perfect retreat within the walls of the old town, but within easy walking distance to all the many attractions of Rhodes town, the coast and the shops. We enjoyed experiencing Rhodes as locals, spent many evenings in the private courtyard and found everyone very friendly. Claudia was an extremely welcoming host and has thought of everything guests may need. We hired a car from Efram to explore more of the island and parking was no problem.

We were delighted with our 4 nights in Claudias place. The property was exactly as described on the VRBO listing. We had high expectations, and were pleased to discover that our expectations were exceeded. We are adventuresome travelers who always try to find places where we can live as temporary locals, in a real neighborhood, where we can shop with the locals in their local markets, prepare our own meals, and enjoy relaxed meals in our own outdoor courtyard as the locals do. Claudias apartment was ideal for us, away from the tourist clamor, in a traditional neighborhood within the walls of the medieval city. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed; the Thursday farmers market was nearby, as was a neighborhood mini-market for other basics. Everything was spotlessly clean.Claudia lives in the adjoining property and was very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend her place!
