Triplex Ski-in Ski-out Arc 1800 - right above main bubble lift

We've just returned from a week staying at this beautiful apartment and as soon as we got there, we felt right at home. Every creature comfort is catered for, including a coffee machine, electric oven / grill, satellite TV and even a dishwasher. The full size bath was a bonus after a day on the slopes and the kids loved their 'den' on the second floor. The location is superb, just a couple of minutes walk to the main lifts and the village centre you could not be nearer the action. We were also able to ski to the apartments back door (steps) by following the directions sent by the owners, Paul & Helen. In fact, the info. pack sent by the owners proved invaluable and helped us to get the most out of the area without wasting valuable time. I would recommend this apartment to any one looking for a good value apartment, in a great location at one of Europes top ski resorts... Thank You Paul and Helen - we had a fantastic time in Les Arcs !

We arrived later than expected but had spoken with the concierge who was very helpful indeed and assured us there would be someone to give us the key. We arrived at the apartment happy to find it was very warm and cosy. Everything was as described and more besides. Paul and Helen had provided lots of useful info prior to our arrival - including where to eat/best ski runs/best places to shop etc. 1800 has so much more going on than 2000 - much more lively on an evening. As always the skiing was superb - I've never been disappointed with the snow in Les Arcs. It is possible to access apartment from the piste - once we found it - once again the info provided gives directions for this. Wonderful stay - we'll be returning and will definitely recommend.

We've stayed in this appartment for the last 3 years to take advantage of the fantastic mountain biking in Les Arcs. The Appartment is ideally placed and right next to Transarc which is the highest lift to some of the best Biking trails you'll find in the Alps. Paul is very helpful and good communications throughout, Couldn't make the stay easier. The appartment is clean and spacious (only two of us). Parking in the summer is an absolute doddle. We've always found a place near the appt to park. The balcony is perfect for putting the bikes togther after the flight and secure overnight. Thanks for a great stay. Recommended for summer Biking.

The location of this apartment is fantastic as it's close to the main town and Trans Arc lift. It's clean, small but well formed and all the essentials covered (don't forget towels!) so perfect for families/couples. The kitchenette is very well stocked and we even cooked in one night. Paul was extremely helpful and accommodating during the entire booking process and a pleasure to deal with. If back in Les Arcs which I'm sure we will be, we would happily rent with Paul again.

We had a fantastic week in this lovely apartment, it has everything you could need and is in a good location. Paul and Helen couldn't have been more helpful and their instructions and helpful hints were great. We will be back next year and would highly recommend the apartment and Les Arcs

Clean and comfortable, this apartment is very well located within easy walk to the commercial centre at Villards but far enough away to be relatively quiet. It is only a 50m walk to the slopes and from there only 100 to the transarc lift or a further 100m to the ski school starting point. The nearest ski hire is in the next door building and the covered parking at Charmettoger only a short walk. The agent and owner were both very helpful and accommodating with any issues and I would definitely return.

I stayed in this apartment as part of a group of 5. The accommodation is cosy but ideal for a group that spend most of the day skiing and evenings out. There is 3 hobs and a microwave in the small kitchen; we managed to cook every lunch and dinner. Location is perfect for Skiing - Ski in and ski out less than 20 yards from the door. Les Arcs as a resort has fantastic pistes for all levels. There is multiple ski hire shops within a 5 minute walk, like wise bars and supermarket. We checked in out of hours and the whole process was super easy! Would go again.

From the beginning to end it was very easy to deal with Paul, any questions I had he answered immediately. The apartment was exactly as described - with space being smaller downstairs but ample for what we needed, it was nice to be able to escape to different levels. We particularly wanted to stay in 1800 as you can stay out on the runs and slope bars that have Djs, ( L`arpette ours and the kids favourite) then ski back even when the lifts are closed. We love BKM bar ( which is in main village of villards ) staff are lovely and flexible with our requests! The grillette half way up the mountain on the trans arc has superb food, and the fresh bread and bakery is just a stones throw away from the apartment. This was a great holiday, a lovely apartment and all very easy to deal with, both Paul and the resident agent in the village. Thank you again.

Great Location, Great Apartment, Great Skiing! My family just came back from a great vacation to Arc 1800. This apartment is the perfect location, central to all the Les Arc skiing area, with the ability to ski in and out of the apartment and straight down to the main lifts. The apartment itself is comfortable and has everything you need to have a relaxing stay. It is also nice and warm! Paul (the owner) was very nice and helpful with some great recommendations and tips to make a wonderful trip. I will definitely be returning.

Comfortable convenient and well equipped apartment. Near to the shops, the lifts and almost able to ski-in/out. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment. The quiet location benefitted from beautiful views and we would have made better use of the balcony had we not been so busy skiing. For families it was very easy to get kids to lessons in the morning and convenient enough to pop back for lunch after picking them up. My only real complaint was that I had to come home!

Having stayed at Paul and Helen's ski apartment seven years running, we can safely say it is perfect for our needs, which is a comfortable space convenient to lifts, the village and ski hire. It's compact, as you would expect, and the mezzanine level provides extra space, although you do need to be ok with the low level ceiling height where the single beds are at the top. The balcony gets the afternoon sun, and is a great space for reading ( really!) and storing skis overnight. The kitchen is well equipped, and the TV/ DVD player is good for the evenings with some DVDs available, although we usually bring a few. We usually travel to Les Arcs on the Eurostar ski train, and with our backpacks just walk to the funicular then at Arc 1600 get the bus to 1800. The manager is very accommodating and for the last two years has happily met me slightly after the official closing time as Paul or I have emailed him in advance and texted him from the funicular. 1800 is the largest of the Les Arcs villages, and the owners provide many good suggestions. We always go to Bar Ambiente in the late afternoon, and the people in Pizza Altitude are super friendly. Finally, Les Arcs is also great if not everyone in your group love skiing. There are many (groomed) walking maps and trails, including the Nordic Ski trails, and the ski lesson providers also have guided snow shoe-ing sessions. Be warned, they are a work out. On a sunny day go up Trans Arc- it's magic. If your family are looking for a convenient and comfortable place to have as a base in Arc 1800, this is definitely one to consider. Just not over New Years Eve week as we'll most likely be there!

Just back from our 5th time staying in this apartment- obviously it is perfect for our needs which are a self catering, comfortable apartment convenient to amenities ( lifts, shops, ski hire, ski lessons, non ski options, après ski activities). Like most ski apartments, this one is compact, however the owners very much make the most of the area available by having an extended floor space on the level where the master bed is (a single bed is available here as well). There is also an attic with two comfortable single beds- the ceiling height is low ( ie you can't stand up here!) but for sleeping and relaxing it is perfectly fine. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of utensils & the apartment and balcony (chairs provided) get afternoon sun. Although we drove the first year, we have travelled by the ski train ever since, and it is great that this apartment can be accessed entirely by public transport. From St Pancras, there are 7 hours (approx) of relaxing to Bourg St Maurice then a walk or free bus to the funicular ( 12 Euro rtn/ adult; 9 Euro rtn/ <14yo) and a free bus (navette) from Arc 1600 to Arc 1800. Each year there are distinct improvements to the apartment- this year the managers were located in the nearest end of the village (Villards) & there was the option to rent wifi for the week ( 14.90 Euro/ wk ). Sky News was also a tv option that was new this year. As well as skiing, Les Arcs is great for non-skiers. I have just completed many alpine walks on the marked trails around Arcs 1800 & 1600 ( which become bike trails in summer) and also at the top of the Trans Arc gondola. In the past I have enjoyed the guided snow shoe walks run by ESF- once I got my breath back, anyway. So, for an active family ski/ snow break at a very fair price this apartment is a great find. And yes, I am currently checking about re-booking for next season. .

We have used this apartment twice now and have been very satisfied on both occasions. It is well positioned with easy access to the slopes. Good family accommodation.

appartement tres fonctionnel et tres calme

Location très bien située, on peut rentrer à la résidence skis aux pieds en suivant un petit chemin boisé. Les commerces et location de skis sont situés à proximité. Il n'y avait pas d'éponge pour la vaisselle, pour quelques tasses c'est dommage de devoir utiliser le lave-vaisselle (mais ce n'est qu'un petit détail) et les lits sont plein d'acariens et poussière (attention aux personnes allergiques). Excepté ceci, le logement en mode triplex est bien pourvu (nous étions 4 adultes) La remise des clés se fait simplement à la conciergerie située dans la station et très bonne communication avec le propriétaire.

Appartement conforme au descriptif et très bien situé. Calme. Qqs petites améliorations seraient bienvenues: pas de chauffe serviette/affaires de ski, literie à changer… Mais bon sejour tout de même!

L'appartement est idéalement placé pour les cours enfants de l'esi, pistes de ski au pieds de l'immeuble qui est en retrait du centre et donc très calme. Le centre est néanmoins à 2mn à pieds. Facile d'accès. L'appartement en lui même est bien mais attention aux escaliers très raides et étroit, assez dangereux avec un enfant en bas âge. Sinon le Triplex est agreable.

Cet appartement est idéalement situé et fonctionnel. Mes enfants et moi-même avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette station.

Très bien situé

Nous avons apprécié le fait de faire 20 m puis de chausser les skis et de revenir les skis au pied. L'appartement est classique pour un appartement de ski mais bien équipé. A noter que ce ne sont pas des chambres fermées mais des mezzanines, attention pour celle du haut, très peu de hauteur. Il est très propre, l'accueil est sympa, c'est très calme et familial (durant notre séjour). Paul et Helen ont été très rapides à répondre et les indications étaient claires. Il ne manque que quelques "tutorials" pour le chauffage, le lave-vaisselle, la TV, mais ce ne sont que des détails. Je recommande donc vivement !!!
