At Akrotiri in a beautiful spot with amazing views of the volcano and the caldera of is situated the beautiful 5 bedroom villa, Michaela Residence that comfortably accommodate 10 people.
As you enter from the main door to the living area the beauty reveals in front of your eyes. Colorful paintings, art objects, elegant furnishing, painted walls, wooden ceiling, fire place and stunning views, all in harmony that give the villa a very warm and playful character. There is also a dining area for 8 persons under a beautiful chandelier.
The living area is equipped with high definition satellite TV, home theater, dvd player, hi fi, lap top computer, wi fi and telephone line open to local calls.
On the same floor a corridor leads to the fully equipped kitchen that has a cozy dining corner for 8 persons. The kitchen walls are painted by a celebrity Greek artist.
On this floor you can find the Lady’s bedroom. It has a romantic wooden double bed, with the famous painting of the red bicycle hanged above it, a vanity dressing area that can hold all the clothes of a lady and a big handcrafted mirror. The bedroom is served from a red bathroom with shower.
On the upper floor is the Master’s bedroom with wooden floor, vaulted ceiling and a massive king size bed. You could even watch the sea from your bed through the window in front of you. All the above combined with art objects, paintings and an art deco arm chair create an atmospheric theater setting in this bedroom.
A spacious dressing area is behind the bed. The bedroom is equipped with a big High definition TV, home theater, DVD player.
Next to the Master’s bedroom is the Mezzanine bedroom. That is a bedroom with a white iron double bed exiting to a large terrace with panoramic views. Next to the bed a wooden ladder leads us to a cozy mezzanine with a double mattress. This bedroom is equipped with flat screen TV and dvd player. A blue bathroom with shower serves this floor.
On the basement there is a comfortable house with a cozy living and dining area that receives natural light from a window and has separate entrance to the courtyard, a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and clothes dryer a romantic double bedroom with no views and a separate room with a treadmill. A bathroom with shower serves this level.
The house has a private courtyard with flowers, private infinity pool, fantastic sea views, a shaded lounge area under a pergola and sun beds. The lounge area is atmospheric especially in the night when it is candle lighted and you enjoy unlimited views from every corner of it.
Stairs lead us to a large terrace on the upper floor that is equipped with a lounge area with views.On the back of the house there is a BBQ area, a wooden oven and a large wooden dining table overlooking the old Castle of Akrotiri.

Great location outside the craziness of the rest of the island. view is so incredible that there is a pulloff on the road in front of the house albeit not with the infinity pool in the foreground. the house is very comfortable and sprawls around to offer many unique spaces and views. The 4 year old loved the hot tub, the adults loved the terraces by the pool with the million $ view..

This villa is every bit as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The property itself was well-appointed with stunning views and just a short drive to all that the island has to offer. Our host, Marouska, was kind, welcoming, and went out of her way to ensure that we maximized our time on her incredible island. We would stay again here in a heartbeat!

Wow! We had the most amazing holiday at Villa Mikaela! Our stay was beyond incredible-largely due to Nikos and his warm personality, attention to detail, and immaculately clean & beautiful house. Nikos met us at the house, showed us everything (including a well-stocked fridge), and took the time to get to know our family while giving us personal recommendations. We chose to eat twice at his favorite restaurant near the beach (Savvas Popeye) during our stay due to their delicious food and warm hospitality. The views of the Caldera from Villa Mikaela are truly breathtaking-especially at sunset. We never tired of seeing those views from all angles of the house and pool! Our children spent a lot of time in the beautiful & clean pool, and we all absolutely loved it when we found that Nikos had delivered a tray of his homemade baklava to the villa! It truly was the best we have ever had, but more than that, were simply blown away with his thoughtfulness and generosity toward our family throughout our entire stay. We know we have been blessed to have found this villa and Nikos is now a friend for life. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable holiday in paradise!
