This property is a gem of a find. Immaculately clean, deceptively spacious enough for a small group. The terrace has an amazing view of the ocean. It was lovely to just sit and watch the small boats passing to and fro. We ate outside in the evenings. For sunworshippers the sun is on the terrace from early morning until late afternoon. Good location for visiting Furnas hot springs and food cooked below ground. The blood sausage was delicious. We recommend the thermal spa at €8 each it was a lovely to spend 90 minutes in the healing heat of the water. Soothing aching muscles and painful joints. Just make sure you wear black as the minerals will stain any swimwear. The changing rooms are relatively new so are clean and the electronic lockers are great(security deposit required). Timed entry means it is not too busy. We found driving easy. Some little roads a bit tight. The scenery was spectacular and lush. Communication with Marco was easy. Meeting us at the property to hand over the keys. We tried to leave the property as we found it. A wonderful stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely memories for us all. The view of the Atlantic ocean was incredibly beautiful and we were treated to a full moon several nights which cast a path of light on the ocean below. The rooms were all spacious and the kitchen provides a table for dining and planning out the days activities! The house comes with a gated entrance for privacy and is centrally located. The location is an easy drive to Ponta Delgada, Vila Franca do Campo and Furnas, home to the hot spring baths and dinners cooked in the fumarolas heated by the hot springs. There are several beaches with restaurants and bathrooms near by. Marcos and his wife Marcia were wonderful hosts, attentive and answered promptly all our questions and had great suggestions for dining and other things to do. We had a wonderful time, surrounded by the beauty of the island and hope to stay at Casa Bela Vista again!

Wir haben eine wunderbar ruhige Woche in der Casa Bella Vista verbracht. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr geräumig mit 2 Schlafzimmer, einer großen Wohnküche, 2 Bädern und einem Wohnbereich mit großem Balkon, von dem man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Atlantik hat. Außerdem gehört ein kleines Gartengrundstück zum Haus dazu sowie ein Waschraum und im Hof mit Parkmöglichkeit ein Grill. Es fehlt zur Selbstversorgung nichts. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Nähe zu Vila Franca do Campo und Furnas ermöglicht viele Unternehmungen in der Umgebung, aber auch andere Ziele sind schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der Kontakt zum Besitzer Marco war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft sehr weiter empfehlen.
