Nice guesthouse in the centre of Eguisheim. Clean and neatly decorated room and very good wines directly from the winemaker - incl. a welcome drink.
Our whole stay was very unpleasantly marked by the terrible behavior of the lady serving breakfast. Firstly, she was shocked when we asked if we could have pancakes - this she demonstrated with a resolute "no" (our question was based on the presence of pancake machine on the counter). Secondly, when we asked for tea, she acted as if this was the most exagerated demand she ever heard. The finale came when we asked for coffee - the lady rolled-over her eyes, did not say a word a later threw the cups on the table. We have never seen such behavior in the hospitality context. As a result, we will not be staying at this place in the future and would recommend the owners to address this issue.
