Double Bedroom Flat In The Heart Of Dartmouth

Communication with the owner was very good. Location of property is great, just a 2 minute walk from the river. Property was perfect for our needs, clean and well maintained, decent size for 2 adults, well equipped, comfortable bed and great shower. Couldn’t fault the property but oh those seagulls, but then if you stay that close to the river you have to accept that. Would definitely stay here again

An excellent base from which to explore all Dartmouth & the surrounding area have to offer. Clean, comfortable & well equipped, with some clever touches (motorised skylight & rope-pull sail skylight curtain). If you like soft mattresses, then you'll find the bed very comfortable... but if like me, you prefer a firm mattress, then you won't ! I used to love the sound of seagulls, but the early morning monkey-like screeching of the nearby gulls (on the roof?) can be quite irritating & sleep disturbing... we got used to it though, as we have something similar where we live, but geese instead of gulls ! We were fortunate with the free parking space right outside the accommodation & managed to park there all week. Check with the host if you have queries or are unsure of listed/pictured amenities as some of the things on the Vrbo listing are either different or not there at all.

Had a really lovely stay, explored dartmouth really easy, lots of shops and places to eat. Lovely green field for dogs.

Just hone from a short break in Dartmouth and Sharon’s lovely property . It was our first visit to the area and we had a wonderful time apart from the weather and torrential rain putting a slight dampener on things . That said - it was lovely to lie in bed and listen to the rain on the window above the bed . The property had everything we needed and was so cosy , especially in the evenings with the little fairy lights and fire turned.on. The location was fantastic - so close to the centre and everything on the doorstep with no steep hills to climb to get home in the evening . There was so much to do in the area that 4 days just wasn’t enough , so hopefully we will revisit Dartmouth and Sharon’s flat again . It was lovely to not have to drive anywhere and either take a boat/ ferry or walk due to the location being so central . Sharon made the whole booking process so smooth and offered lots of useful information . Very highly recommended!

Perfect location for shops and restaurants and the apartment is well equipped. The owner was flexible with dates and realistic about parking which can be resolved by making use of the riverside parking overnight from 4pm until 11am.

Ideal base for exploring Dartmouth and the surrounding area. Quiet area. Close to restaurants, pubs and shops.

This small, perfectly formed flat is in a perfect spot in Dartmouth, for those of us who have previously booked in upper or higher town - no more strenuous climbs up and down to the town and accommodation.

We stayed at Sharon’s apartment and really enjoyed our stay, the location couldn’t be any better, so central, so easy to pop in and out during the day. Sharon is a super host and made us feel very welcome.

Both days we did large walks, one day coastline, second day along the dart to Dittisham. Recommend this property, some quirky home improvements inside the flat made it great. Like the sail style curtain above the bed to cover the window.

We really enjoyed our stay and would like to return. There is a well stocked kitchen, everything you need to cook with, and the WiFi was great enabling my partner to work whilst away.

Good stay

Great location in the centre of town, although there is no dedicated parking we always found somewhere close by without difficulty.

Very clean and well equipped. There are three parking spaces right outside the door. Once you get one it’s best to stay there and travel by bus or boat, (or by foot). The market square is nearby. You can park there 24 hrs free of charge BUT you must remove your car from 6am to 6pm on Tuesdays and Fridays to make way for the ONE market stall that set up on those the two market days we were there. It’s such a joke that as soon as everybody realised there was only going to be one stall they filled up the whole car park with their cars! Overall I reckon Dartmouth Council are pretty fair with their parking rules, doing their best to accommodate the cars that bring in the visitors that bring in the money they spend there. Back to the flat: firstly, the key box is box A. I somehow didn’t know that and messed about for a while trying to open the wrong ones. (There are three). The other spoiler are the two steps in the flat: the nine-and-a-half inch high one into the lounge was so unmissable I named it the White Cliffs of Dover! However, its the five inch step up into the bedroom that’s a killer; so dangerous in fact that I named it ‘the Dreaded Doom Bar’ ! For we men of a certain age who need a night time tinkle in the toilet, it’s quite dangerous — not that I managed to trip up it. I used my mobile to see where I was going. Summing up: good value accommodation, very personally equipped ( there’s even a pair of binoculars), the bedroom’s rather claustrophobic— especially with that huge basket on top of the wardrobe, and no proper window, but my wife and I would certainly stay again. What a great stay. This property is clean well equipped and close to everything. The first day unfortunately the three parking spaces outside the property were taken but on driving round for a bit found a temporary parking space on the car park where the market is held just around the corner 5 minute walk and one of the market traders we got chatting to said we could leave it there for the duration of our stay bonus. On the second day we were able to park outside the property. Nothing is to much trouble for the owner of this property. 100% will be returning to this little haven in lovely Dartmouth.

Quite a nice little flat to stay in, on the plus side it's close to the town centre of Dartmouth, where everything is in walking distance. The flat was clean had loads of extras to help make the stay go smoothly. On the down side parking is an issue as there is no designated parking for the flat and the town suffers from a shortage of parking especially in the holiday season and town parking is metered and restricted to so many hours at a time. I managed with some trouble to find a space and when I did get a space outside the flat I was scared to use the car again in case I lost the space. In short if you take your car park it out of town, maybe the park and ride. I also had a nest of noisy seagulls who took in shifts to squawk all night, every night above the bedroom skylight. Remember your close to the sea and seagulls present a constant problem to those who aren't used to it.

We have now visited this property 4 or 5 times which obviously shows how satisfied we are with it. The property is always clean and well-equipped and excellent value for money. It is ideally located in the heart of beautiful Dartmouth. Cannot fault it. We shall be staying again next year 😁😎☀️

Tidy little flat at bottom of hill and close to all Dartmouth shops and riverfront. Very helpful owners too. Great base for visiting local coastal areas.

The apartment was superb had everything you needed. Ideally situated in the middle of town short walk to pubs, restaurants and both Ferries. Will definitely be back.

What a great last minute find. We needed to come to Dartmouth at short notice for a few days and having looked at nunberois properties I finally settled on this property and so glad we did. Gorgeous 1 bedroom dog friendly apartment. Perfectly situated in the centre of town. The apartment really felt like home from home with all the usual things an apartment needs and extras too such as picnic blanket and bits and pieces in the kitchen to make life easier. The bed is amazingly comfy and shower was good and powerful so absolutely no complaints there either. Love how there was plenty of storage and hangers in the bedroom and a hairdryer etc again extra things that make life easier. I do think ( as mentioned by another reviewer) a microwave is missing. We had chips one evening and they could have just done with a warm up by the time we walked back and we e had soup and only one large pan to heat it which was already in use. Finally a washing up bowl too as no where to tip liquid when the sink is in use. Apart from that - would have absolutely no hesitation in staying again and recommending the apartment to others.

Clean and tidy accommodation - ideal for us. Very central in Dartmouth and easy to get to (we travelled there by train). On the flat and handy for all local amenities. Would definitely stay there again, if available.

Property lovely, had everything that is needed, perhaps a microwave for quick snacks but plenty of lovely places to eat. Situation was brilliant everything was within walking distance and so close to the shops and harbour. Would love to have been there for Regatta but maybe next year. Would definitely return.

The flat was really lovely and ideally situated, especially for people like us who don't have a car. We had a great stay and were lucky with the weather.

Great little spot right in the centre of Dartmouth - shops, cafes, French bakery, fish and chips, delis, a farmers market and plenty of good pubs all within a seagull's squawk of the front door. Perfect for cliff walks to rocky coves and wooded valleys and sea kayaking with seals. Good buses along the coast in either direction & the Dart cruise to/from Totnes is well worth your time. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
