The initial receptionist was warm and welcoming. Milanda (I think) was also very accommodating. Peter and his bride did an amazing job! 👏 The dinner was fantabulous. Order the lasagna Peter makes. It's delicious! The staff work too hard and deserve a raise!!

A lovely rest on the Via Francigena

Beautifully located on the Via Francigena, in a quiet bourg. The host was very friendly, spoke excellent English (thank you!) and was truly exquisite. The room was large, the beds comfortable, the bathroom had a good shower with lots of hot water, the window was immense, with a lovely view on the mountains and on the starry night sky. The ice creams were delicious, wonderful after a long day's walk.

Wonderfully helpfull and warm hospitality. Eventough its at the budget end for Swiss standards & the dinner menu was unassuming, the quality was actually really good. Highly recommended.

Opening the window in the room, I could hear the neighbors. Fortunately they were not the noisy type.

Clean and comfortable with friendly helpful staff. Nice place to stay for walking, but no bars or restaurants in the village if you want to eat out. You can eat here though. The pizza was lovely.

It was great. Good value for money.

Very nice service, renovated rooms, and no extra fee for our dog and newborn. The air was fresh and chilly, which was great during the heatwave.

The facet in the bathroom is the old kind with two knobs, which is less practical and causes more waste of water before one finds the proper temperature settings. It would be nice to separate the balcony from the room next door - this way we could not let our dog go there as he would visit the neighbors with open doors.

Simple , friendly and doing the job for a night stay

the owner is very nice - check in easy and friendly, the room was clean-very important. i left at 2h in the morning , the owner make sure i will still enjoy the breakfast coming with the room booking, it was a simple one but what was needed, thanks for that.

the room is pretty simple - maybe a small table/chair could be added, bed are probably bit too soft for me there for not the best comfort .

You get what you pay

The first impression was not very good, awkward “reception” awkward access to the rooms, and it was immediately obvious that the cleaning wasn’t their main concern. But we were very surprised with the sympathy of the staff, specially Marie-Jo, the owner. Easy going , always concern with our comfort and baked a very good Butterzopf bread. The breakfast was simple but very good, all that we need. I recommend strongly to everyone, try the “Potenze” local speciality. Who likes steak will love it. The surroundings are great for hiking and enjoy the Swiss nature.
