About this cottage rental
In the south of Mallorca, between the towns of Campos and Santanyi is our Finca Gallicant. A beautiful stone house surrounded by a plot of 20 hectares and 1 kilometer from the road which ensures tranquility and relaxation.
Olive trees, pines and bushes of garrigue fill the broad terrain. A very large terrace with barbecue, the pool area surrounded by lawn and sun loungers will make your holidays unforgettable and exclusive.
About 10 minutes by car you can enjoy one of the best beaches in Mallorca; It is Trenc as well as the Mondragó Natural Park. The capital Palma is only 30 minutes away.
The town of Santanyi, with market every Saturday and the tourist town of Cala D'Or are 12 minutes away by car.
Gallicant is a charming rural house. It consists of 3 double bedrooms, two of them with bathroom en suite. 2 Bedrooms with king size bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. There is a third separate and complete bathroom.
The living room has a double sofa bed, satellite TV and DVD player, fireplace.
The terrace with pergola leads to the dining room, both are furnished for 6-7 people
The kitchen with breakfast bar is fully equipped.

From May to September, we only accept bookings with arrival and departure on a Saturday. Please do not book if this is not the case. For other dates, please inquire about our flexibility.
Heating in winter is not included in the quote 40 Euros per day. -Every 7 nights is included in the price 1 cleaning and change of linens and towels
Tourist Tax (ecotasa) not included 2 Euros per day per guest up to 16 years old

Initially we were a little worried following the gravel/dirt road to the finca, however we shouldn't have been worried. The finca is set within its own grounds with the nearest neighbour some distance away and never going to disturb you.
There is a large deep swimming pool with grass surrounds and a sunbed area. It is a deep pool and even the shallow end is quite deep, so any kids need to be able to swim. Not for toddlers. Lots of birds flitting about the area and some great sunsets over the pool.
The finca is well appointed with a large terrace. The bedrooms are all a good size and bathrooms similarly good. There is no air con, but couple of large fans. After a couple of nights we got used to the temperature, it was fine.
The finca is only a 5-7 seven minute drive to Santanyi and Campos and 20-30 minutes from some great beaches. The airport takes 45 mins max.
Doing the cash with Pepe seemed a bit odd when we booked but it was fine. He is a lovely man and his English is a lot better than he thinks. Don't let this bit put you off. I would recommend the finca and this part of Mallorca. Plenty to do, nice temperatures, nice people. Overall one of our best hols.
