About this apartment rental

Our first floor apartment is in the small, unspoilt, village of Lauterbrunnen. Nestled between the towering walls of a shear sided valley that is famed for its waterfalls and awesome views in every direction. The sunny south facing balcony with table and chairs for summer dining is accessed through large french doors. Inside the living and dining areas are light and spacious and equipped with TV and DVD player. The kitchen is modern with granite worktops and very well equipped with ceramic hob, large fridge and dishwasher. Two beautiful bedrooms, one double, one twin both with stunning views. The bathroom, with shower in bath, toilet and twin basins also houses a brand new washing machine and dryer. The whole apartment has underfloor heating and is tiled throughout. Downstairs there is a heated ski and boot storage area. The apartment is conveniently situated on the bus route with connections to the Schilthorn cableway and main train stations in the village itself.

PLEASE NOTE THAT AN AMOUNT OF 3.50chf per person per night is payable in tourist tax.

Fabulous apartment! Quiet location with lovely views. Great communication with manager. Exceptional kitchen with everything you need and more. Suggest checking in first before purchasing “extras” so you don’t waste money. Washer and dryer are a real benefit! No need to over pack. Bus stop is very close, but we preferred to walk everywhere. Would definitely recommend!

It's a clean and spacious apartment and a great base for exploring beautiful Lauterbrunnen. A word of caution: Ensure you receive detailed instructions from the host on the location and access. We didn't realise this had been overlooked and so followed the Get Directions link on the web page. This somehow pinpointed "In Der Weid 210". If you go to this address, you'll quickly be told to push-off by an angry man with an equally angry dog. Our unfortunate welcome to Lauterbrunnen after a long day's travel.

Property was very clean and close to the bus stop which was very convenient. Honestly, we pretty much just slept here so we didn’t use the kitchen at all. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Would love to come back sometime in the summer!

This condo was the highlight of all our accommodations in Switzerland! That views from the balcony are breath taking and it was the perfect location for day trips around the area. We are glad we found this gem!

We loved our stay in Lauterbrunnen and the location of this place! Our complaint would be that there were no paper towels or napkins to use. The pillows were tiny and not very comfortable. There were some toiletries. No air conditioning, so it got pretty warm. They had a couple of fans but could have used more. Should leave instructions for using the washing machine-not intuitive at all! Overall it was a very nice place!

We loved our stay here. The host (Heather) was extremely responsive to any questions we had leading up to our stay. The unit was very roomy and comfortable. The laundry was convenient in the unit and easy to use. The view from the back balcony/porch was stunning. Great water pressure in the shower/sinks. Lots of fans to help cool it down in the summer. The location was about a 10-12 minute walk from the train station/city center. Walking back into town was a bit more strenuous due to the hills, but was very convenient to the bus line that ran every 30 minutes. We wish our stay was longer!

This place had an amazing view- people were actually stopping by the entry to take photos. It was easy to walk into town for shops/food. Kitchen had all we needed to cook a few dinners and all our breakfasts. Beds were comfortable. Appreciated the washer /dryer especially with wet/muddy week we visited. Wish we could have used balcony more but rain didn't allow much outdoor lounging. Keys were a bit difficult to use in main door-would be nice to have more then one

My sister and I accompanied our parents on a trip to Switzerland. We love this accommodation. It was a picturesque location, while still being close to town. We could walk or take a short bus ride. Loved being able to hear the waterfall when we opened the windows. It was easy to find and had all the comforts we required. Would gladly stay here again.

Very nice, clean and well stocked ski chalet within walking distance of the Lauterbrunnen shops and restaurants. It is very close to the falls and once we found it a good location. It was clean and spacious and had a beautiful view of the valley.

Loved the unit and it’s location. Since it’s very close to the base of the Falls, we were able to enjoy the beautiful falls during our morning walks when there were no crowd at all. It’s a beautiful unit - clean and as seen in pics. The owners were very responsive. Would definitely recommend and stay here again on our next trip. We really enjoyed our stay 😊

Apartment was exactly as described and pictured. Location is perfect. Heather responded quickly to all questions. We loved sitting out on our balcony at the end of our hiking days watching the spectacular mountains. Lauterbrunnen is a perfect base for hiking and touring in the area. Highly recommended!

We used this town location as hub to visit many other towns and sites. The hosts were excellent with communicating. The home is right off the bus route with beautiful waterfalls right outside the apartments. The home was clean with a few things you would need like toilet paper and paper towels. Everything was amazing and we would stay again in a heartbeat. We will definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to the Interlaken area.

This was my family’s first time visiting Switzerland. Such a gorgeous place and this chalet really helped us be comfortable and relaxed. Great location, comfortable beds and beautiful views. Heather was superb as well and was always willing to answer any questions we had. Book this place- you won’t regret it!!!

The property was as portrayed in the photographs. Very comfortable, cozy, and well located with a nice balcony. The apartment was convenient for the bus - steps away from the bus stop. We were also able to get into town by walking through the campsite behind the chalets. It goes without saying the area is stunning. We hope to return and would stay in this apartment again.

We loved our stay in this darling VRBO in Lauterbrunnen! Communication was easy and very helpful, sending us specific directions to the apartment. Check in was easy and we were able to check in on our time table. Public transportation was easy and quick to the train station and around the valley. The beds were very comfortable and the entire home felt comfortable and very much like a home away from home. We happened to be traveling when most of Europe was breaking records with the heat- so I was a little worried about how hot it might be inside, but we were very comfortable with the fans provided. It was perfect and we would love to come back one day!

This property is in a great location with beautiful views. You have a great view of the mountains from the balcony and can see two nearby waterfalls. It is walking distance from Staubbach Falls and downtown Lauterbrunnen. The property was clean and comfortable. My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back if there was ever a chance!

Our stay in Lauterbrunnen was wonderful. The chateau was everything we needed. We had comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and a beautiful view. The best was having a dryer with the washer...... the only one we have found in Europe. The place was very roomy for the four of us with a great porch. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Our family of 6 (2 kids, parents and grandparents) stayed at this wonderful apartment over Christmas vacation. It was beautiful and comfortable - and the location was perfect. We walked to different restaurants for dinner 2 nights, and had everything we needed to cook in two nights as well. It's also a stone's throw away from the bus that we took each morning to ski (one day we took the train to Kleine Shiedegg and one day we took the cable car/train to Murren). Heather was very responsive with our questions leading up to our stay as well. I would definitely come back and would absolutely recommend this location and this apartment. Beautiful and relaxing!

The location was outstanding. It is right on the edge of the village. About a 10 minute walk to the middle of town. The location was also the perfect starting point to see the Lauterbrunnen valley. There is a running/walking path about 200 meters from the front door. It follows the river forever. You can walk out the front door straight to one of the nicest water falls. We loved it. I run in the mornings and this is likely the most beautiful place on earth. The apartment held six of us easily, it was clean and very nice. After a long day you can sit with a beverage from the deck and watch the falls. We would definately stay again.

This place was a great value for Switzerland. Location is Lauterbrunnen was perfect. Helpful, responsive hosts. Only feedback is that the king bed was very firm. Other than that, the apartment was great - clean, spacious, and the patio was a great place to unwind with a glass of wine after a day of hiking.

Our family of five loved staying in Lauterbrunnen in this charmimg apartment. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything you need to feel at home while vacationing. The little grocery store down the street supplied us with everything we needed to cook and dine in. The town of Lauterbrunnen is absolutely beautiful and offers many outdoor activities but is also the perfect launching spot to visit Lucerne, Grindelwald, Interlaken, etc. Heather was a great hostess with her prompt communication, precise directions, and thorough instructions concerning the apartment.
