FARMHOUSE DIMORE DI POGGIANTO is the perfect location for groups, like families gathering for a special occasion, business meetings, group retreats in general and yoga sessions, or people who are simply happy to spend their holidays together.
Our venue is also ideal for events and weddings.
For the wedding celebration, we can arrange the symbolic ceremony, the wedding dinner, toasts, apetizers, breakfast, meals and everything you may need during the stay. We fully assist you in planning your most beautiful day.
Farmhouse Dimore di Poggianto lies in a beautiful panoramic position admist the gentle hills of the Tuscan countryside. Just a few miles away from Arezzo and centrally placed between the most important Tuscan art cities like Firenze, Siena, Cortona and also close to the famous wine producing Chianti area, this is the ideal starting point to discover Tuscany and all its beauties.
The farmhouse is composed of three old typical Tuscan dwellings surrounded by beautiful gardens. The houses are renewed, equipped with all the comforts and can host groups of 20 to 40 people.
There is a large swimming pool area with romantic wooden gazebos equipped with beach chairs, a small playground for the children and, to eat all together, a beautiful panoramic lodge with fireplace and barbecue.
There is also a restaurant on site, that proposes the typical Tuscan cuisine using the freshest vegetables of the organic garden and other genuine products of the farms nearby. During your stay, you can choose to have breakfast, half board or full board service.
There are a lot of ways to relax here, as for instance taking a stroll in the countryside or in the woods that surround the property, or go for a bycicle or a horse ride or maybe on a quad, or again visiting a wine cellar tasting some among the hundreds of excellent Tuscan wines, if not opting for some wellness in a spa or a shopping session in one of the huge outlets around here.

Just returned from a fabulous week at Agriturismo Poggianto.The entire experience was faultless. We were welcomed by Marina and Dave with beautiful rose wine rose wine from one of their neighbours.
The accommodation is wonderfully restored to a very high standard and consists of 8 separate apartments which vary with either 2 or 3 bedrooms. Each apartment has everything that a family or group of friends could possibly need. The place sits on a hillside overlooking the valley with the river Arno at the bottom and the medieval town of Laterina on the other side.
We were a group of families and friends over to celebrate a 50th birthday, our ages ranged from 12 to 72 and every one of us had a whale of a time.
Dave, Marina and Alessio were perfect hosts and made sure that everything we wanted was provided. Dave is a fabulous cook and has no problems catering for large groups.
There is a large swimming pool within a lawned area which has ample sun loungers and is the perfect place to relax or cool off.
It's a great base to explore Tuscany with Arezzo, Siena and Florence within easy driving distance or to stay home and unwind in the glorious sunshine.
