Sunshine Villa Apt 3 is just 150m from the 60km long fabulous Makarska Riviera beach and with its large sunbathing and dining terraces the apartment has some of the best views on the Adriatic. The beach is a walk down a path of steps, its aqua waters a treat to swim in. Forbes Magazine has declared this stunning beach to be the best in Europe!
The apartment is located on the upper 2 floors of the house. The entrance is at street level and then up one flight of stairs.
Here you enter the open plan dining room / kitchen off which is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower room. Up the stairs is a living area off which is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower room.
On the upper floor is a terrace with fabulous sea views. To the side of the lower floor is a large covered dining terrace, also with amazing views.
The house is 2.5 km from Brela centre, approx a 25 min walk along a beautiful coastal path. The seaside promenade goes to Baška Voda in one direction and to Brela centre in the other direction. Along the promenade you can enjoy views of the sea and the islands in the distance in the many cafes along the route.
A holiday in this apartment will give you a 24 hour taste of the sea, sunshine and moonlight, you'll actually hardly find yourself indoors!
Brela is a town set in countryside of contrasts, the high mountains behind giving the adventure holiday seeker opportunities to paraglide or rock climb or for keen walkers to trek the mountain Biokovo with its ancient villages along the path. The pine forest in the lower reaches then gives way to olive and citrus groves around the village. But for those less active, the village offers leisurely pursuits like eating in its great restaurants.

There are 2 parking places outside the house and 3 private parking spaces are available 70m from the house. They are for use by the 3 apts in the house.
Our representative will show you where to park when you arrive, depending on availability.
Public stairs at the end of the street will take you to the beach. There are approx 200 stairs to the beach. There is also an option to drive down to one of the pay for parking areas closer to the water in central Soline.
The apartment has free WiFi/Internet connection.
BBQ is available. BBQ must be clean on departure.
Baby cot + linen is available to rent - there are 2 cots for the 3 apts so please book in advance
Baby high chair is available to rent - there is 1 chair for the 3 apts so please book in advance
There are 2 washing machines in a communal room, they are shared between the 3 apartments in the house
Means of access: Getting there is easy by car or by plane. Split airport is a 60 km ride away.
Directions to the house: The local property manager Dalmatian Property Management will email you photo directions to the apartment where you will be met by their representative who will give you information about the region, supermarkets, restaurants and cultural events you might visit during your stay. You will feel completely looked after. And in a case you need anything else DPM personnel will be happy to help.
Other Things to note
Please note you will need to pay in cash on arrival cca 2 Euro per person per day tourist tax.
Late arrival and Sunday check in fees apply.
You will also need to leave a 20 Euro cash deposit on arrival for the key.
You will get this back when you return the key on departure.

Tolle, saubere und gut ausgestattet Wohnung mit zwei fantastischen Terrassen und super Blick über die Adria. Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen. Einzige Kritik wäre, dass keine direkten Parkplätze vorhanden waren und dies aus der Beschreibung nicht hervorging. Auch ein zweiter Schlüssel wäre bei zwei Familien schön gewesen.

This apartment has everything your could need for a self catering holiday. The view from the balcony is beautiful and it was in a very peaceful location. The beach and a small restaurant are down approx 200 steps (OK going down but a bit of a struggle getting up again!). A car is essential to get to other local beaches where you can park almost on the beach and also to go to other restaurants, although the local Konoba will come and pick you up and drop you off after an excellent meal. Such a beautiful part of Croatia.

We enjoyed our week at this apartment. It was clean and spacious, with a lovely large terrace with dining table and a great sea view. There was wi fi, air con and TV. It did, however, lack a homely feel and an information pack about the area would have been useful. There's a small supermarket about a 3 min walk to the right of the house.
You can walk into Brela along the road by turning right out of the house and following the road which then links to the promenade. It takes about 35 minutes to the harbour with bars and restaurants but it is a nice walk along the seafront promenade with bars along the way to rest in the heat . We loved the fish platter at Obala restaurant which is at the far end of the promenade and cocktails on the beach in deckchairs at Gullivers just before this. It is possible to carry on walking the coast path to Baska Voda too which was closer than we first thought and worth a visit. We felt very safe walking back along the promenade late at night
Turning left out of the house, walk to the end of the road and down the steps (215 and counting coming back up !) there is a lovely beach bar on the left . If you follow the promenade to the right you come to a smaller harbour ( where we caught our boat trip ) and then on into a smaller village with 2 restaurants by the beach. We ate in the smaller one twice, the pizzas and steak were good. To get here is a much quicker walk than Brela, aprox 10 minutes rather than 35, a perfect way to relax at the end of a hard day sunbathing !
We travelled from Split airport into Split, then on the local bus to Baska Voda as we stayed there for 2 days first. Taxis were hard to get but we needed one to find the house. If travelling by bus, it is a steep walk down from the main road to the house which would be manageable but not so easy with luggage on the return journey.
Overall we loved the area and plan to visit again.
