Super spacious, quiet in the smaller room, clean.

Someone close by was smoking but that couldn't be helped as ot was probably other guests.

Location was great, 2 minute walk to Metro, 10 minute walk to Atwater market, 15 minute walk to Green Spot or Paul Patates or Joe Beef. Lachine canal parks would be lovely in the summer. Facilities were clean and mostly comfortable but could be improved with a bit of effort.

A few minor details could improve the accommodation significantly. The couch (suite 205) was 6 inches off the ground and essentially useless. A towel bar in the bathroom would help, as would a few carpets or mats to make the concrete floor a little less stark. The smell upon entering the building didn't bother me as it was momentary, however the smell on entering the unit was an overwhelming noxious industrial cleaner smell. Best option would have been to drop off the bags, open the windows wide and go for dinner for a few hours. For a few pennies more I'm sure you could find something less noxious.
