About this house rental
Independent villa with panoramic view over castelsardo sea in the north of sardinia. The house is composed of living room with double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom, a second bedroom with bunk bed and bathroom. Outside there is a veranda with barbecue where it is possible to have dinner in the open air. In the garden there is a private swimming pool with outstanding view and private car parking.

From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was 1st class. We had to rearrange our dates from last year due to covid restrictions and this was no problem and quickly organised. Correspondence prior to travel was responded to promptly and all questions answered.
We hike a lot whilst we are away so WiFi is a must so we can route plan. The WiFi regularly didn't work or was too slow however 2 messages to the staff and on several occasions this was rectified the same day. Excellent!
We loved the remoteness of this property to fully unwind. Views of fields and surrounding land from the pool is spectacular as are the sunrises and sunsets. We ate most evenings at the house with a coal and gas barbecue you can use. Est supermarkets are Conad in Castelsardo or Eurospin 10 mins away.
Maybe the house and utensils could do with a bit of updating, some windows shutters wont open and a few lights didnt work (unwired) which made the kitchen dark in the evenings but I guess that's its charm.

The views are amazing and the villa is private and secluded. The owner checks the pool every day and comes and goes without you knowing.
The road to Lu Bagnu is down a track which is drivable and good fun in the dark. There is so much wildlife it is a real adventure. We did plenty of walking and exploring while we were there.
The Villa was clean and tidy and we were given a bath and hand towel each for the 10 night stay.
The villa is looking a little tired and be prepared for things to not work as you would imagine. The toilet was temperamental and the shower fell off the wall as we were leaving. There are also some very large structural cracks between the master bedroom and the outside wall. It’s not going to fall down anytime soon but It probably will need some major work on it at some point. The owner is on hand if anything goes wrong and will always help out if he can. So long as you go not expecting a 5 star experience you will enjoy it. The views and pool are by far the best part of the villa and we had a good time. Go with an open mind!
