The Herring Queen

Very spacious - great for young children and comfortable for adults. My twins were that excited about the place we couldn’t get them to leave! Fantastic size kitchen for a family. Very home from home feel I would say. Bedrooms again a perfect size. Both bathrooms a good size with a bath in one which is always essential for kids. Living room very comfortable, nicely decorated and again very homely feeling. Quite a quirky and interesting property all round. Definitely excellent value for money with a lot to offer set in a perfect location to explore the surrounding area :-)

A lot of dust on the 4 post bed that I had to clean which was slightly off putting but I appreciate it’s an old building with wooden floors and not the easiest place to keep meticulously clean. I felt there was too many wardrobes in the bedrooms which I think could be reduced to increase space in the rooms but that’s my personal preference and certainly not a complaint. Nothing that would put me off staying again :-)

Location, is very good, right on the harbour

Boiler was broken so no hot water or heating, owner did try to rectify and was offered full refund or reduction and chose reduction as thought it would be sorted quickly, but unfortunately it wasn't
