Charming fishermans cottage within minutes of beach and harbour

Warm and comfortable cottage with everything you need from lots of cutlery, plates and dishes to DVD films and games. Headroom upstairs is a little low - I am 6’3” and my head was brushing the ceiling - but not a problem in the main downstairs bedroom where we slept. The cottage is very close to the harbour and a lovely walk to nearby Coldingham Beach. Another enjoyable walk is the coastal path to St Abbs lighthouse. The owners ensure that everything is ok, keep in touch and are always available for any problems. We had inadvertently left an item behind which they very kindly posted back to us. We would not hesitate to return to this delightful cottage when we visit St Abbs again.

Our family (with three teenagers and a dog) stayed here for a few days in the October holidays. The house was very clean and well equipped and really comfortable. We loved the easy walking options from beautiful St Abbs, on the Berwickshire coastal paths and we satisfied everyone’s requirements inc gym junkie (Eyemouth leisure centre) to Harry Styles video recreation (St Abbs) to board games and pumpkin patch foraging and ball throwing on the beach for our furry family member. Thank you, we hope to be back again.

Great location

It should state garden is across a road at the back - so I could not just leave the door open to let the dog out. Also, I was unlucky in that the cottage next door was being re-roofed and a new chimney built all weekend. Noise and hammering from 8.15am until after 5pm -had the owner have informed me of this, I would have cancelled.
