De locatie was echt top! 5 min lopen vanaf de ferry die je in 10 min naar hartje Lissabon vaart. Het appartement ligt op de 13e verdieping waardoor je prachtig uitzicht hebt. Het appartement was huiselijk en schoon. Maar bovenal was de (kleindochter van) de eigenaresse heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, gaf leuke tips en hielp ons uit de brand toen we hulp nodig hadden vanwege ziekte van ons zoontje.

I was pleased with the place, although I felt I paid too much considering what I got.

The worst aspect about staying at this listing was that I quickly realized the neighboor next door seemed to be a very disturbed man. I never understood why, but at any hour of the day or night he would start shouting very, very loud and would not stop for hours. It was impossible to unserstand what he was saying, but I could notice a lot of swearing. This was absolutely unpleasent and honestly ruined my stay, making it impossible to sleep many times. When I asked the owner about this, she simply explained it was someone who lived upstairs (actually not, he was right next door) and that it was always like this, saying he was a sick man. I was surprised, because she didn't seem to be aware that he was right next door and how disturbing it was for her guests. She also didn't offer any kind of solution or help. This got to the point to me having to call the police and emergency services myself, when he was shouting for hours one night. The police delt with it, warning him to stop this beahviour. The following day, I left the appartment, so I'm not sure about the follow-up of this. I found it fair to let potential future guests know about this.
