Super friendly, amazing staff, gorgeous bar & restaurant areas, fab choice of food (which is super yummy). Breakfast was perfection with so much choice & a 12 noon checkout was a total bonus as was the friendly & very helpful reception staff on where to visit locally & on our way back to Shannon Airport.

Location was beautiful. Staff were friendly & helpful.

A lot of noise from outside the hotel room. (Outdoors) Sounded like the windows were open, when they were actually closed. A lot of noise from deliveries, crashes & bangs (back of building) & traffic flow was frequent. Fire alarm repeatedly went off for hours on one of the days, causing anxiety and discomfort.

Swimming pool and slide was a massive hit with our daughter. Staff were friendly.

Electrical works going on so the place was quite untidy and dangerous on the first floor.

When we checked in the receptionist Ken,while he was checking us in answered two phone calls from Tracey who was unable to locate her tea tray in her room I think perhaps check you’re customers in first with you’re full attention Then past the other customers checking in over to you’re colleague And then answer the phone It wasn’t the best first impression as this is a customers first view and experience of you’re business Obviously the phone ringing off the hook is annoying so I can understand why it was answered it’s not a massive issue just saying if we were given full attention at check in the review would be 100% positive

Amazing stay!

Our stay was fantastic! We stayed in the room 214, it was spotlessly clean, a lot of space, bed comfortable. We had a great views on the rive. Our food was very tasty, each of the staff friendly, polite and courteous, Justyna always in a good mood. Swimming pool was perfect. We highly recommend the hotel!

Only one small minus - TV set was placed little bit high on the wall.

Can’t wait to come back!

When we arrived, we were kindly upgraded to a lake view room. It was fabulous. The views are amazing. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Loved that in the morning after our showers the towels were lovely and warm on the towel rack. Complimentary Water and Chocolates are a lovely touch. We had dinner in O’Haras and the food is delicious, cannot recommend the Mussels enough. Dying to go back already.

Waterfront rooms deliver 5 star experience

The Waterfront rooms are simply amazing. Private, extraordinary comfort, soundproofed, a beautiful rainfall shower, the most confortable beds we ever slept on and a balcony with the best views. We also ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both times, the food was exceptional. We ate dinner in the bar and were seated with a lovely view of the lake. I had the fish and chips and my partner had the steak sandwich and both were fantastic, cleared plated all round. We already are discussing booking another stay!

The leisure centre was very busy and got quite loud as many children were in the pool but we still really enjoyed the hour or so we spent there. Lovely jacuzzi and the water slide - even for adults - is great fun!

Fabulous waterfront room, beautiful view from the terrace. Bed was so comfortable and room was spotlessly clean. Staff all very pleasant and breakfast excellent with buffet and cook to order options. Only a 5 or 6 min walk into the village. A fantastic night's stay.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.

My Lakeview room was spectacular in its setting, size and comfort. Unfortunately while I was there the weather was terrible so I was happy to be able to enjoy the comfort and view from the room. The staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable and ready to help in every way. I ate in the bar, which was very convenient. The location is wonderful.

The hotel was hosting a wedding which was nice but did interfere with my ability to eat in the bar. It was fun to enjoy the happiness of the wedding party but the service could have been better for those of us not involved in the festivities.

Hidden gem with great view, facilities and lovely local pubs/restaurants.

A hidden gem in a lovely village

A well established small hotel which was recently refurbished. Overlooks the Shannon and just a few minutes from the village of Ballina-Killaloe. Had a wonderful stay, the room was comfortable as was the bar and restaurant. The staff were great from the moment we arrived to the time we left. Could not have had a better stay, hopefully we'll be back some time.

I absolutely love this hotel.....it has managed to keep its personal touch throughout the years, something that seems to be slowly disappearing in Ireland. Luxury and comfort with a lovely riverside view.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious with a luxurious feel. We stayed during a very hot period, but the air-conditioning worked perfectly. We slept very well in the comfortable beds and enjoyed a drink with a scenic view over the river on the balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast selection was a bit disappointing, considering the high standard of the hotel. Service was excellent and an Irish breakfast was of course available, but overall the selection was a bit lacking.
