Owners were extremely friendly, chatty, and helpful, very knowledgeable about Ometepe. Room was very clean and came with a mosquito net. Water pressure in shower was good with hot or cold water. Kitchen was massive and coffee and water were free, as well as some fruit and veg. They had loads of comfortable chairs and seating areas for chilling. Only downside was that the WiFi didn’t work in the room.

Absolutely amazing kitchen for cooking. Had a blender, sharp knives and no shortage of pots and pans. Beautiful view of the volcano, especially from the top balcony. The bike rental place via this accommodation, was really fair and honest. Staff were super accomodating with letting us leave our bags there for a few days while we travelled to the other side of the island. The cleaning staff were super kind and warm. It was an easy nice walk into the nearby town to get groceries or to come from or to the ferry. Rooms were always clean and cosy.
There was one dog who kept coming into our room and I felt bad for how he was treated when they dragged him out by the owner, who I found could be quite grouchy and not welcoming.

José is very friendly and welcoming, room adequately clean
bedroom hot (but with a portable fan); big trash can filled with clean water in shower makes me think water goes out on occasion; I don’t quite understand the 9.3 overall rating
