Manoir du Kasteelveld

A lovely property in the rolling Flanders countryside, close to the coast but tucked away in a network of small, tidy villages. We had a beautifully furnished ground floor room looking onto the carefully tended garden with its Flemish style topiary around mature beds. The owners Eric and Sylvie are superb hosts: welcoming, warm, genuinely keen to make one’s stay special (which it was). The undoubted highlight is breakfast, served in the room, in which great pride is clearly taken. We loved the homemade jams and utterly delicious apricot ‘pain perdu’ cake, along with breads and pastries, freshly pressed orange juice and coffee, and local yoghurts and cheeses. What a treat!

There is honestly nothing to criticise - tout parfait!

lokatrie prima, zeer kalm,en voor ons goed gelegen tov Cassel.gastheer zeer persoonlijk betrokken en zeer vriendelijk .ontbijt perfekt. zouden geen enkel probleem hebben om opnieuw te boeken .er zijn slechts 2 kamers,dus privacy en rust verzekerd .

Nous étions déjà venus il y a 2 ans et avions apprécié l'accueil des propriétaires, l'environnement, la qualité et générosité du petit-déjeuner, la propreté et le confort. Les prestations étaient cette fois encore à la hauteur. Une adresse à recommander !!

Trés belle chambre qui donne sur l'extérieur, un parking privé pour la voiture à l'intérieur appréciable. Excellent accueil et très bon petit déjeuner.
