Dimora Domrose

Emplacement exceptionnel. Accueil parfait.

We stayed at Dimora Domrose for four nights and rented the two-bedroom apartment, which is perfect for four people. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The property is even more beautiful than the photos suggest. Everything is furnished with exceptional taste and attention to detail, making it feel both elegant and welcoming. Sleeping in a real trullo is a unique experience, and the thick stone walls keep the interior naturally cool. Even with temperatures above 30°C outside, we never felt the need to use the air conditioning. The apartment has everything you might need for a comfortable stay, including a Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a small washing machine, which is incredibly useful if you're travelling with light luggage and want to do a quick load of laundry. The house was spotlessly clean, and Domenico and Francesca welcomed us personally. They were incredibly kind and thoughtful. We appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and coffee capsules waiting for us on arrival. The location is peaceful, quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Locorotondo is just a few minutes away by car or bicycle. There is a small local shop nearby for basic essentials, but since you will most likely need a car to reach the property anyway, we recommend shopping at one of the larger supermarkets nearby where you can find everything you need. One of our favourite parts of the property was the spacious garden with its table and chairs under a magnificent olive tree that is more than 100 years old. It is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or spend a relaxing evening. Overall, this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed, and we would happily return. We highly recommend Dimora Domrose to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful and beautifully designed place to experience the Valle d'Itria.

I personally found my pillow a little too high, although this is obviously a matter of personal preference. If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to provide a change of towels for stays longer than three nights. We understand this is an apartment rather than a hotel, and there is a washing machine available, but during the hot summer months, when you often shower twice a day, fresh towels halfway through the stay would be a nice addition.

L'esperienza di soggiornare in un autentico trullo è già di per sé qualcosa di speciale, ma farlo alla Dimora Domrose la rende davvero indimenticabile. È sorprendente come una costruzione storica possa essere trasformata in un ambiente così confortevole e perfettamente organizzato negli spazi, senza perdere il suo fascino originale. All'interno abbiamo trovato una pulizia impeccabile e una cura dei dettagli davvero maniacale. Non mancava assolutamente nulla: dalla cucina perfettamente attrezzata fino ai piccoli accorgimenti che fanno sentire gli ospiti come a casa. Abbiamo persino trovato l'occorrente per preparare una spaghettata al volo, anche se alla fine abbiamo seguito il consiglio del signor Domenico, che ci ha indirizzati verso una tradizionale macelleria con fornello a Locorotondo. È stata una scelta azzeccatissima e una delle cene più memorabili della nostra vacanza. A pochi passi dalla struttura si trova anche un bar/trattoria dove è possibile fare colazione oppure fermarsi per pranzo o cena senza dover utilizzare l'auto. All'esterno sono presenti un comodo parcheggio privato chiuso da cancello e un'area ben illuminata e videosorvegliata, un'attenzione che trasmette ulteriore tranquillità. La posizione è perfetta per visitare alcune delle località più belle della Valle d'Itria: Locorotondo, Alberobello, Martina Franca e la splendida Cisternino, che merita davvero una visita. Anche in questa occasione i suggerimenti del signor Domenico si sono rivelati preziosi e hanno contribuito a rendere il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Dimora Domrose è una di quelle strutture che non si dimenticano facilmente. Se dovessimo tornare in Puglia, sarebbe senza alcun dubbio il nostro punto di riferimento. Grazie di cuore a Domenico e a suo figlio Francesco per averci accolto con tanta gentilezza e passione. Persone che amano ciò che fanno e riescono a trasmetterlo ai loro ospiti.
