Il Trullo Pellegrini

Great property with a swimming pool (not heated). The property was very clean and is located close to Locorotondo. Although it is a bit isolated, it is well connected by road, and there is a mini market nearby. The setting is family-friendly, surrounded by olive groves, making it calm, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. As is typical with trulli, the spaces can be compact, but the main bedroom was a good size, with one double bed and an additional guest bed. The bathroom is spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Stefano is very friendly and available for any queries on whatsapp. Overall, a lovely place to enjoy the italian countryside and experience the charm of the region.

One thing that would have improved the stay is having a sofa with comfortable seating/lounge area to relax during the day, or even a sofa added instead of chairs as there is limited space for the family to lounge together indoors. The second sleeping area consists of two twin beds positioned in the main entrance/living/dining space and separated only by curtains, which may not offer much privacy and feels a little squeezed into the available space.

Un posto stupendo ideale per staccare e ricaricare la Spina. Un tipico trullo con ambienti interni spaziosi e confortevoli, un giardino da sogno.

The property is a little bit out of the way, which made locating it precisely a bit challenging, but once we contacted Stefano, we were able to find it and meet his brother there with the keys, and subsequently him, to have the features of the truly explained. Parking was very easy, and the trulls had pretty much all we needed for a short stay. The WiFi worked surprisingly well, considering the relative isolation of the property, and the beds and all the rooms were very comfortable. Stefano and his brother Ottavio were very helpful and welcoming.

Everything about the property was as described, and we were quite happy with our choice. The only real issue is the distance to any local restaurants, which all involved a drive over rather narrow roads, but that's not a problem for Stefano to solve.
