If you are looking for a place close to the beach with high quality standards to both rest and enjoy with family and friends, then look no further. Located in a quiet valley in Ribamontan al Monte at short distance from the beach/surfing area of Somo/Loredo, Casa Novoa is a centenary, newly refurbished two-story family house with dining room, two living rooms (one with wood burner), five bedrooms (three with double beds, two with twin beds), three full bathroom suites (one ensuite) and a spacious kitchen, all decorated with sophistication and charm. The garden includes a renovated old grain storage, an outdoor shower and a traditionally built, fully furnished outdoor patio where you may relax or dine in the warm days. Additional features are parking space for two cars and WiFi.
Located just 25 Km from Santander and 75 Km from Bilbao, Casa Novoa is extremely well placed to take the most of your leisure time. Both cities have a broad and interesting cultural offer, with special mention to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the International Musical Festival in Santander. For the foodies and within short distance, there is plenty of high quality places to fulfill all tastes, including a two start Michelin restaurant just 3 Km away. For the golfers, Seve´s Golf Course in Pedreña is just 15 minutes away. Public golf courses are available in Pedreña and Santander. Bikers and walkers may want to explore the numerous routes available. Finally, the proximity of the sea may allow the younger generation and the not so younger to practice the full range of water sports in of the best areas of Spain , with particular emphasis in surfing, kite surfing and body boarding.
Property rules:
- No smoking inside the house
- No pets
- During high season periods (July & August), we only accept booking in periods of 7 days (i.e one week, two weeks, three weeks...). Check-in day is Saturday after 17:00 and check-out Saturday before 11:00
- Rest of the year, we accept any booking of 5 days or longer. Check-in/Check-out times are 17:00/11:00.
- Due to the geographic location of the property, some animal sounds and smell should be expected from time to time.

We were so happy for being in this Omoño house.
Everything was so nice and the communication with the owner and the welcome/farewell was fluent and warm.
The only thing was the furnace/boiler, since it was stopping of working when we demand hot water. Because of that, every moment this was happening, we had to reset the heater and wait for 30 min, it was a bit uncomfortable get out of the house ( boiler is outside) and fix it, since for winter you expect that furnace is working in perfect condition. A bit disappointed.
We would be back for sure!, over all amazing stay.

Casa enorme, tranquila y bien situada para visitar Cantabría. La casa responde a lo que se dice de ella y los propietarios estuvieron atentos a que todo funcionase. Solo tuvimos un pequeño problema con la calefacción y nos lo resolvieron a pesar de las fechas tan complicadas (Navidad). Volveríamos
