Villas Spa El Mirador de Isla

The location was beautiful and so peaceful. We loved the pool and the set up of the villa, it was great for a first holiday with a 6 month old.

The hot tub was amazing massive and brand new. The apartment was spotless, also very spacious and has fact that you have such quiet surrounds if you really need a break this is a great choice. The communal swimming pool lovely far too cold for me however it seems many children and parents enjoyed swimming. You have a communal barbecue area and the hosts are very hospitable in offering coals so you can light the fire. If you like privacy when you are in the small garden in front of your apartment you will battle as they all are positioned next to one another so using the communal area opposite the apartments is more private. All the appliances and fittings were recently fitted and purchased so it felt nice and organised. You can tell the hosts are proud of their investment.

Without a car the walk to the beach is around 40 minutes or to any shops so without provisions you are really stuck. The local restaurants spoke absolutely no English and in fact were quite unfriendly to English people refusing to allow booking. Local taxi's also do not speak English so if you make it to the shop or beach getting back almost impossible or if you call for a lift they will not try and assist. You need a car this I can't stress enough or you will be isolated. Old folk would battle as there is no loo upstairs in your apartment so you have to go from the bedroom all the way downstairs to use bathroom and without putting on the light you simply would not be safe. Most visitors seemed to be young families so I guess in this case this was in not way an issue.
