Aux Caprices d'Aubrac

Beautiful gite in Aubrac. Easily to drive to trails or Laguiole center for restaurants and shops. Onsite parking is right out front and convenient. Big dining table and communal area on the ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen. Nice breakfast with local bread, jam, pate, salami, cheese. We requested eggs for the second day and it was accommodated. Owner nicely told us weather forecast and recommended where to go on first day, so we could manage our itinerary accordingly. Useful info. It rains quite a lot in this region.

It was quite cold in the gite when we first arrived. Bathroom doesn’t have door. Only with two curtains. But toilet is separate with a door inside the bathroom area. We were expecting the room and bed to be bigger. Stairs to go up to the room, no elevator. So be aware if you have big and heavy suitcases. Breakfast was charged extra 15 euros per person, and it was a bit expensive on top of what we paid for the room rate already. We wish the room could have had some more tea bags like green tea and mint tea. The gite was awfully quiet but we assumed it’s not the peak season yet.

L accueil. On a dû attendre 2 h la propriétaire avant que nous puissions rentrer dans notre chambre. Pas cool après 5 h de route.
