Great location. Good laundry service. Staff were friendly. Rooms a little crowded for three 60yo men. Great value though and the chicken skewer place on the corner was great and cafe Nonnon just up the road on the corner was fabulous. Good coffee and almond toast and very cheap.
A bit small for old men. But it did the job. We had fun.
7 / 10Good·Sep 2026
The location is good. When I arrived at Himeji, it was a heavy rain. And I didn’t even open my umbrella, ‘cause there is a big shopping district （商店街) right next to the station. So many good restaurants are in that district.
There is no kitchen. The bathroom sink is also for washing dishes or glasses. The mixed dormitory is kind of in the public area. The female dormitory is very small, but at least it’s private.

Location was excellent. Easy access to train, food and castle
Not much ventilation in the dorm cubicleAdding a fan would be great upgrade
